I would have given 5 stars because the doctor in my personal opinion is awesome when you get him but it seems like to me the staff doesn't care about the patients or at least that's how I feel I have called for over a month now to get an update on my surgery and what's going on with my paper work and I have yet to ever receive a phone call back after an entire month witch is very disappointing considering my stomache is flaring up again and it's hard to eat again ..... Sucks cause I was very hopeful for this surgery cause it sounded like changing to me

Dr. Appannagari is absolutely hands down the best GI Dr in Northwest Indiana. The entire office staff are so nice. I have a procedure soon and having him as my dr. I am not worried or concerned knowing I am in good hands!!! He cares and wants to help relieve your pain and symptoms the best he can.

I had a great experience with Dr. Appannagari! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and comforting. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt at ease before and after my procedure. The staff was equally kind and professional, and I truly felt cared for throughout the whole visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a GI specialist who’s both knowledgeable and compassionate.

DR Appanagari is the best GI Dr ive ever been to.He truly cares about his patients and sits and explains his thoughts on what he thinks is going on in your stomach.He is friendly and easy going and helps me with removing my nodules every few months so my cancer dont spread.

went in for rectal pain. he wanted an endoscopy. I insisted it was rectal, so he ordered a full colonoscopy. I was in too much pain for the prep, so he ordered upper GI ultrasounds. 6 months later I ruptured a very large internal hemorrhoid. a speculum is beyond his ability to use.

Great doctor but the staff not so much and the ability to get anyone on the phone makes me want to leave 1 star

Dr Appannagari is an amazing doctor and listens to his patients. He makes me feel comfortable and I wouldn't go any other GI doctor!

Great doctor!! Very nice, great bedside manner and explains things well. I was able to get an appointment for a colonoscopy promptly. I had one a few years ago at Franciscan. He and his staff made it a much more comfortable experience
