We were referred to Dr. Sabel by a family member. I have to say that everything about our experience was an absolute pleasure. On the initial call for an appointment on Tuesday the person on the phone was able to find a spot for us only a few days later on Thursday. On the day of the visit the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to nurse Ms. Yolanda who was just so caring and an absolute pleasure. We loved her bunny ears and enthusiasm. Then there was Dr. Sabel. She was just amazing. She took the time to ask lots of questions about my daughter, explained things in a very knowledgeable way, and in way we understood. She then ordered tests that were done on site and we were on our way soon after. On the ride home we got a call from my daughter's PCP to go over Dr. Sabel's report wich she had just received. Just a great experience made posible by great people. I highly recommend Dr Sabel!

Drove 45 minutes to see her but she was condescending and lacked bedside manner. I wouldn’t care if the appointment was for myself, but because it was for my 5 year old I won’t be back. The front office staff was great though.

Giving 3 stars because she’s my daughters stomach doctor and has been great but her staff is terrible. I’ve been calling since 08/29 for an authorization that expired and the pharmacy does not want to refill it I spoke to Yolanda allegedly she started the auth and sent it as an emergency but I have yet to hear back anything I work in the medical field myself it doesn’t take a week for a medication auth especially for a child with a condition. My daughter needs daily medication. Today 09/05 a week later I called I left another message for Yolanda no call back I called a second time and the receptionist who did not want to give me her name hung up on me. Very unprofessional for a office that’s affiliated with the hospital and sad that it reflects on the doctor.

Our 14 year old has had several years of on again, off again stomach pain. our primary care doc referred us to Dr. Sabel when things got worse in the last six months. in a word, she's been great. ordered the necessary tests, including an endoscopy at St. Bs, she quickly found what was physically behind the stomach pains, explained it simply to us, showed us the pics, and ruled out several things, which was a relief. she's def straight to the point and no nonsense, which we appreciate. recommend her without hesitation.

Super bad both personally and professionally, she doesn't care about the suffering that babies go through, for her everything is fine and she doesn't look for solutions, for an emergency she responds the next day and barely listens to the problem and then takes about a week to look a solution, it examines only superficially and never orders in-depth tests to find the root of the problem and its solutions are very little or not at all effective, my 3-month-old baby suffered a lot with her, now that I change my gastroenterologist everything is going better

Very happy. She took her time. Over an hour with my son. she has been the best Pediatric GI doctor I have found. And we are finally getting to a solution. Great experience. Zero wait time.

My newborn son had run out of a hypoallergenic formula and no pharmacy in the area had this in stock. Dr. Sabel helped facilitate us getting this hypoallergenic formula with ease. Very caring and insightful physician.

Dr. Sabel has been my daughter’s doctor for a few years now. We like her, find her very knowledgeable, and trust her with my child’s care. Today (3/16) my daughter had an appointment that was canceled due to an emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen—even for doctors—so this review is not about the cancellation itself. My concern is with the front desk staff. When I spoke with someone who said her name was Shamieka, she was very rude and dismissive on the phone. I explained that the cancellation was inconvenient for me because I had already called off work and my daughter was marked absent from school, so I asked if there could be any accommodation when I’m available. She told me the doctor only sees patients on Wednesdays, so I asked about April 1st. She then said the doctor wouldn’t even be in that day, which was confusing after being told Wednesdays were the only option. I then said April 6th works for me at any time since I have open availability that day. Her response was that she didn’t have any times and would have to ask the doctor—which I completely understand—but she called me back without actually scheduling an appointment or providing any solution. Unfortunately, this is the second issue I’ve had with the office. Previously, there was a problem where a pre-authorization for my child’s medication was not completed. Again, Dr. Sabel herself is great, but the front office staff has been coming across as rude and unhelpful. I hope the office can improve communication and professionalism with patients.
