I scheduled an appointment for 10:15am and waiting 40 minutes until I was told that I would need to pay an additional $150 (in addition to my copay) before seeing the doctor. If Dr. Lai and his office staff is aware that they have this extra fee in regard to high deductibles, they should collect insurance information prior to the appointment instead having patients wait for almost an hour, only to hit them with an unexpected charge. Terrible experience and a waste of my morning.

This doctor charges you as a new visit for telling you your test results. He suggested very expensive tests that wasn’t necessary as well. Worst experience I had visiting doctor.

Excellent and caring doctor. Dr Lai is very dedicated, thorough and knowledgeable in his field. He cares about his patients

Dr. Lai spends time with you, answers and explains what's going on. I have never felt rushed.

HE IS GENTLE AND VERY THOROUGH.

I have been going to Dr Lai for 24 years as both my primary care physician and my gastroenterologist. I am very pleased and hope he will continue to practice medicine.
