Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Institute Evanston

Terrible care….had two procedures here and am now at home still in pain almost a week later and with no biopsy results…but they made sure to call and explain why the nurses ignored me when I was in recovery and stating something was wrong…I am now dealing with an emergency and it’s possibly an obstruction or perforation from their lack of diligence….do NOT go here if you want to live

I was told that gastroenterology office did not have any available appointment in the next 6 months. Not sure how a clinic could operate like this. I was referred to them by Northwestern health center. Gastroenterology office is supposed to support the well being of Northwestern students and the larger Evanston community - is it responsible or even ethical to tell a patient to see a doctor 6 months after they start to experience health issues?
