Dr. Wishingrad was my gastroenterologist for many, many years. And it’d take forever and a day to tell you the many details of just how well he took care of me. Although I switched insurance providers with the emergence of Obamacare, Dr. Wishingrad set the bar for healthcare that none other has yet to rise to. He’s caring, kind, patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly empathetic. I’ve yet to find a GI doc that even comes close, except for my docs at Washington University Med Ctr. I was diagnosed with UC at age 8, and was blessed to be one of Dr. Wishingrad’s first patients following his med school run. I still miss his level of care. If you’re one of the lucky to find him, you’ve stumbled upon a heart of gold.

In 2010 or 14 years ago, I use Dr. Wishingrad to do a colonoscopy As soon as I left, I was in a lot of pain as he left too much gas, and I had to immediately go back for his assistance He was not receptive to assist me Now 14 years later, my doctor from One Medical gave me a prescription for Cedars Snai Santa Monica To do a standard colonoscopy I called to make an appointment and the assistant told me about my prior colonoscopy with Dr. Wishingrad I said I did not want to use him. Could I use the other two doctors in the practice? After the assistant called him directly, he said no way He refuses to let me use one of his partners Not a sympathetic person That is why I gave him such a low score Your assistant Jeanette called me three days ago and said sorry once you have started with one doctor in the Cedar Sinai practice Santa Monica you cannot transfer even though I had explained it had been 14 years and I had a bad experience I know you are wanting me to upgrade or delete my review This is 2024 If you did a bad job for me 14 years ago, let me move on to another doctor Fortunately Los Angeles has been qualified doctors who do colonoscopy No reason to continue these reviews going back-and-forth Change your practice for transfers or do a good job the first time!! Enough said

Just finished my colonoscopy/endoscopy and the process was the easiest I have ever done. Wonderful staff, attentive through the process and very caring. I highly recommend Dr. Wishingrad.

The best, caring, knowledgeable and professional doctor. I have had several other doctors in the past and by far he is better.

Dr. Wishingrad is amazing, he’s way better than other gastroenterologists I’ve been too including the pediatric one I was seeing before him! He’s super friendly and informative and the office is nice and modern, I’m glad he was reccomended to me.
