I am a new patient and I just saw Dr Shamsi for the very first time, and I told him my concerns about SIBO for the last 5 months, he actually asked me all the questions without me telling him what is wrong with me and I only had to answer yes to his questions, because he already knew what was going on with me, he gave me all the instructions what I’m supposed to do to make this terrible thing to go away, his staff sent me all the information what I need to do very well explained, and now I’m excited for this new journey of getting better. I wish I came to him five months ago. Let me add one more thing, He’s very funny.

I had an excellent experience with this gastroenterologist. He is honestly the chillest doctor I’ve ever been to, and he immediately put a lot of my anxiety at ease. He has a unique way of making gastroenterology feel approachable, while still being completely professional and thorough. He took his time and did not rush through the appointment. From start to finish, everything felt calm and well-managed. He took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. The office staff was also fantastic—which made the entire visit smooth and easy. Overall, a genuinely positive experience and a great doctor. Highly recommend.

So appreciative of Dr. Shamsi and his team! He gave me answers I was waiting my whole life to hear, and peace of mind that everything will be okay. He also advocated for a colonoscopy before the recommended age, and yes, I very much needed it! Can't recommend Dr. Shamsi enough -- especially for anyone that has connective tissue or autoimmune disorders. I love that he's well-versed in functional practices, too, for folks who have sensitive systems. Just wish I had gone sooner!

I’ve spent 8 years being bounced to various doctors in the UCLA medical system, all for them to tell me that I had an anxiety problem. In one appointment, Dr Shamsi linked all my symptoms to 2 overlapping issues. The doc really knows his stuff, and for the first time in almost a decade I feel like a normal person again.

Coming from a family of doctors, I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Shamsi, not only for his advanced knowledge of gastroenterology, but for his advanced knowledge of general medicine. He will reach out and advocate for you, he will Contact other doctors on your behalf to make sure the whole picture is looked at when it comes to your health. He has an incredible bedside manner, he always makes me feel comfortable which is very important in this medical field. I can’t say enough good things about him and his office staff, including ease of appointments and time spent with each patient. You 100% cannot go wrong with Dr. Shamsi!

There are not enough great things to say about Dr. Shamsi!! He is SO kind, caring, and really helped figure out what was going on with me. I went in with severe stomach pain and he quickly got me in for a colonoscopy and did a thorough examination. He was in touch with all my other doctors and found a solution to help fix my issue. He always made me feel comfortable and had a funny sense of humor especially when I was worried and scared. His staff is also fast and amazing. Thank you Dr. Shamsi for everything, you're amazing!

I saw this doctor once and I regret the time I spend to even drive to his office. He is very unprofessional, disrespected, and care less. He rudely left the room when i was explaining my pain. He start texting and talking to the phone without let me finish talking . At the end he told me is a medication in canada for $8000, you can order it online. He didn't even exam me or listen to my concern.

Dr. Shamsi, is a kind and caring person. He has a way of making you feel at ease. He was able to see my husband immediately which is unheard of these days and we are incredibly grateful. We highly recommend him.

A month of being in pain bed ridden and when he couldn’t find out what was wrong he strait up gave up on me and said “idk what’s causing the pain goodluck”
