I called Dr. Weinstock’s office because I am severely ill with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). I live on the West Coast and was willing to pay privately any amount just for the opportunity to consult with him. Before I could even finish explaining my situation the receptionist interrupted me, abruptly told me that Dr. Weinstock does not see patients outside of the local community and hung up on me. I completely understand if a physician has limitations on who they can accept as patients. That isn’t my complaint. My disappointment is with how I was treated. When someone is desperately ill and reaches out for help, a few moments of compassion can make an enormous difference. Instead, I was cut off, dismissed, and left feeling like my situation didn’t matter.

Very thankful for Dr. Weinstock and staff. I was at death’s door First appointment. I was always getting new diagnosis from doctors but no one looking for or able to find the root. I have seen many MCAS Doctors since diagnosed. Dr. Weinstock continually re-searches and has much understanding unlike any provider where I live or out of town. Thank you Doctor for your heart to help us who have been drained and misunderstood by the current lack of understanding throughout the medical system. Truly blessed to have found you. Most efficient operation I think I’ve ever seen in a medical situation. Everyone on staff seemed to care, sincerely care. The competency Was obvious all around. In what could be Embarrassing situations there were none. It seemed like the entire staff, each individual, really listened, understood and responded accordingly. I Have visited Dr. Weinstock in the past. And there’s good reason to be returning patient to trust level here is very high. I would recommend this Group to anyone with a high degree of confidence. I’ve never felt more seen, heard and understood by a provider! I’ve been to countless doctors and specialists in the last 15 years and not one has been able to figure out what is going on with me! Dr. Weinstock was able to give me answers that I’ve been searching for, for over a decade now! Not only did he provide me with answers, he was able to prescribe medications and supplements that actually help with the myriad of symptoms I’ve been dealing with! I cannot praise him enough, and I highly recommend him if you’re struggling with hEDS, MCAS and POTS! Worth the two hour drive there and back!
