Dr. Linn is excellent surgeon and great person. Clear, specific, answers all questions with patience. Dedicated to patients and shows great respect for family members as well. Regardless of the complexity of the situation, someone you can rely on and trust that the end result will be good. Also want to say thank you to his excellent team.

Dr. Lin performed surgery on myself yesterday and before surgery he took the time to politely answer my questions, explain the small and large details. Dr. Linn made the procedure relaxing!!

I had hernia surgery with Dr. Linn. While the outcome was ok and the experience with the pre-op surgical team was outstanding, the interaction with Dr. John Linn was sub optimal. The reason for the 3-star review is Dr. Linn provided inconsistent information regarding the surgery (pre op vs post op), entered incorrect information in his progress notes and did not follow through with his commitment to provide documents about the surgery.

Dr Linn is a an excellent surgeon - very professional, informative and trustworthy. He patiently answered all my questions. He was very clear about what would happen during and after the surgery. The surgery went great. As I'm writing this a couple of years after the surgery everything feels as well as he predicted.

Dr Linn, literally, saved my life so I feel such intense gratitude toward him and his PAs I can't even adequately express it. I very much appreciate his straightforward approach, his honesty, and clearly his surgical skills. I would be remiss in not mentioning how kind he was and how every day when he came to check on me he seemed genuinely concerned about my well-being. My wife just had surgery performed by Dr. Linn today, and I just had to get on here right away and say what a comforting experience this has been for me as a family member. Dr. Linn answered all of our questions and called me personally to let me know that my wife was doing well. I also want to commend the entire staff for their support and care they took to make my wife feel at ease. Thanks doc, and thanks Northshore!
