Dr. Lazare and her team is great! Would highly recommend them! My baby had severe milk allergies since birth and had feeding aversion and reflux where he would spit up multiple times a day. It was nerve wracking but seeing Dr. Lazare made me feel at ease because she always had a game plan for us. And she would reassure me (first time mom) it wasn’t as bad as it seems.

One star, and that feels generous. This was for my child, which makes the experience even more disappointing. The GI doctor barely interacted with us, asked very few meaningful questions, performed no tests, and made no real effort to thoroughly evaluate my child. The appointment felt rushed and dismissive, with a prescription and a generic recommendation given without proper investigation or explanation. What’s especially concerning is that our pediatrician had already done more, more listening, more evaluation, and more thoughtful consideration, than this specialist did in the entire visit. When a general pediatrician provides a more thorough assessment than a GI specialist, something is seriously wrong. To then receive a bill for nearly $1,000 for such minimal care is incredibly frustrating. Parents trust specialists to take concerns seriously, especially when it comes to a child’s health. This experience felt transactional, not medical. I’m sharing this in hopes that it saves another family from unnecessary stress, disappointment, and an unjustifiable bill for subpar service.

I took my teen here who has pain after eating anything, a low grade fever on and off for months, & severe exhaustion impacting her ability to go to school. She also gets dizzy and sees black when getting up. This Dr. said 7.5 hours of sleep wasn't enough and it was probably stress. We said she sleeps 12 hours and is still tired and she said oh she should sleep over break and then she will feel better. Said her blood work was fine even thought there were clear out of range areas and a ferritin of 7 which is very low for a teen. So dismissive - we will absolutely not be back.

Dr. Lazare is the best doctor! She treated us with patience, professionalism, and care.

I highly recommend Dr Lazare. She genuinely cares about her patients and is very thorough and answers all questions in detail. Dr Lazare has diagnosed my daughter’s symptoms effectively and efficiently and given treatment plans that have massively helped! All concerns are quickly addressed with advice given in quick response! Very grateful for the professionalism and general care of my daughter under Dr Lazare and her team!

We had our first and last visit to this office. She made a good suggestion otherwise it would be a 0 star review. When a concerned parent asks if there would be any future side effects, she answered as if I asked if there would be any current side effects. So I elaborated because they wasnt my question. Her response was no. Just like autism isn't linked to vaccines. I asked nothing about vaccines. Her comment was horrendously unwarranted. It made me feel like she is an angered extremist which make me nervous that she isn't a critical thinker and I am worried about her ever treating my daughter. I am in shock with her angered comment. I didnt reply to her comment other than that has nothing to do with my question. I wasnt speaking to have a political conversation. I was focused on my daughter.

After my daughter had a very bad experience with another doctor, I found Dr. Lazare to be kind, patient, caring, and very thorough. She not only asked questions, but she listened to all of my daughter’s concerns. Dr. Lazare helped my daughter to develop a plan to cope with her stomach issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Lazare; she was instrumental to improving my daughter’s current quality of life.

Dr. Lazare is amazingly knowledgeable in her field, extremely hands-on, and wonderfully compassionate. When my daughter was very ill, she found the best treatment plan and even worked with us through insurance nonsense to make sure my daughter got the best medical attention. We just love her and don’t know what we would’ve done without her!

Dr. Lazare is wonderful! My preemie was born at 29 weeks and had everything from awful reflux to a Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy. Dr. Lazare was recommended to us by my daughter’s physicians in the hospital, and I’m so glad we were. She’s so kind, gentle, knowledgeable, and I feel like she really listens to you as a parent. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a pediatric GI!
