WORST front desk experience!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the office in the morning, and no one answered the phone. Instead, the receptionist sent me a text message. What should have been a very simple request—to obtain my father's medical records—turned into an extremely frustrating experience. First, the receptionist stated that the records had already been provided to us years ago, which was not relevant to my current request. She then proceeded to ask excessive and unnecessary questions about why my father needed the medical records. I explained that my father switched to a new insurance and that his primary care doctor had issued a new referral. Rather than assisting with my original request, the receptionist spent time looking up my father's new insurance information—which I did not provide—and came back stating that the office accepts the new insurance and that he was due for a colonoscopy. This had nothing to do with my request for medical records. After continuing to avoid addressing my request, the receptionist stopped responding altogether and effectively ghosted me via text. This was a horrible and unprofessional experience, especially for something that should have been straightforward and routine.

Receptionists were very rude. Keeping texting me instead of picking up the phone. They asked me if 12:00 pm on one of the date works. I text them if they have any other time in the early morning or late afternoon, and told them to call me instead, since it will be much easier to discuss over the phone. They just text me back to have my physician redirect me to another specialist. I see in the comments some people have similar experience with the receptionists as I did. I would suggest skip this place.

Dr. Yap is extremely professional and always answers his texts very fast! I have been a patient of his and he is very kind and patient. His staff also is bilingual and can speak both English and mandarin making it more accessible!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kong Yap for three years. Dr. Yap is one of the best gastrointestinal specialists I have met in the United States. He is patient, speaks kindly, has exquisite skills, and embodies the kindness of a doctor. He has performed several colonoscopies and gastroscopies for me. He is extremely kind. Whenever I have questions, he always takes the trouble to explain them to me, ensuring patient satisfaction. I recommend him to everyone. I want to give Doctor Kong Yap a like and a 5-star rating .

Dr.Yap is one of the best GI doctors I have ever seen I highly recommend him. He is a very nice person and professional, he always notes his patients as a top priority. Plus his staff is lovely communicates via text or call, which makes my life efficient when I have to communicate with his office at my workplace. Hands down I’d recommend Dr.Yap to friends and family!
