Number one GI doctor out there. I highly recommend him — he is extremely knowledgeable, and more importantly, very humane and caring. The staff is wonderful as well. Thank you!!

Don't know how to explain but the doctor was a4 of out 10 the staff 0 out of 10 I was recommended to dr Frederic someone and not even better no calls from staff I had to call the doctors I had to call for the paperwork no calls from the office then after 4 weeks of no calls they call me and just say oh sorry your medical changed ok so give me other options as a doctors office don't recommend at all sorry to say

My experience with Dr. Frederick Boghossian at Adventist Hospital was one of the most traumatic medical encounters I have ever had. This was my first time undergoing both a colonoscopy and an endoscopy, and I came in with understandable anxiety and many questions. Instead of receiving reassurance or compassion, I was spoken to harshly and felt dismissed and humiliated. I had clearly requested to be fully under anesthesia during the procedure, but this was not honored. I was only informed about sedation at the very last minute as I was being taken into the procedure room. While I was still talking with the doctor, a nurse suddenly administered sedation without my consent. I remember waking up in severe pain, feeling panicked and helpless as several nurses physically held me down — I ended up with scratches on my hands from struggling. No patient should ever be put through that kind of experience. The colonoscopy was never completed because the pain was unbearable. I was sent home without being seen again by Dr. Boghossian. He called later to apologize and admitted that the situation was handled unethically, saying he would request anesthesia if the procedure were to be repeated. But I will never go back to him again. Adding to all this, my prep experience was terrible. Despite explaining in advance that I have a gag reflex and vomiting issues, no one took the time to explain that there were different prep options or flavors that could have made the process more tolerable. I left this experience feeling emotionally and physically violated. No patient deserves to be treated this way. Please be cautious and make sure your concerns and consent are fully respected before any procedure.

Dr. Frederick is very bad and rude, and if he had five stars in terms of badness and rudeness, I would definitely give five stars.

Dr. Boghossian is not just a doctor; he's a compassionate lifesaver. His expertise in upper G.I. procedures made a significant difference for my mom. After each procedure, he called us to explain everything in detail—the procedure itself, my mom's condition, and how best to support her recovery. Beyond routine care, Dr. Boghossian recommended a TIPS surgery for my mom's liver cirrhosis when no one else did. This surgery extended her life. His proactive approach and unwavering support were a beacon of hope during a challenging time. In the whirlwind of hospital visits, Dr. Boghossian stood out among the few doctors we could truly rely on. We are immensely grateful for his dedication and expertise, which not only saved my mom's life but also provided us with much-needed reassurance and support.

Im a GI oncologic surgeon who has worked with Dr. Boghossian. Ive sent my patients and family to him and when it was my time, I chose him to do my endoscopy and colonoscopy as well. Everything was seamless from start to finish, didn't feel a thing even without anesthesia. I highly recommend him for anyone needing colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy.

Very polite, knowledgeable, and respectful doctor. Explained in great detail the information pertaining to my mother's health. He seems like a genuine and compassionate doctor, would recommend.
