I would like to kindly clarify that this review is not intended to reflect negatively on the doctor or the staff in general. My husband received very good care, and we are grateful for the attention and professionalism he received. I am sharing our experience only with the hope that it may be helpful to other patients who have private insurance. As a precaution, I would recommend confirming your insurance pre-authorization and asking about the expected copayment before your procedure, if possible. My husband, was informed that he needed to pay a $700 copayment. We paid the amount requested at the time. However, after receiving the insurance claim, we were surprised that, according to our insurance, our actual patient responsibility was only $35. When I contacted the office to ask about the difference, I was informed that it may take up to 30 days for the insurance claim to be received. I was also informed that any refund would be issued by check rather than being credited back to the card used for the payment Again, I would kindly recommend asking about the insurance pre-authorization and confirming the expected copayment before the procedure, so there are no unexpected financial surprises.

I had a really positive experience with the representative Kevelyn who assisted me. She was extremely kind, professional, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I truly appreciated how welcoming and helpful she was throughout the entire interaction. I’ve had other experiences when calling regarding questions or concerns where the communication felt less welcoming and, at times, I felt like I was being given an attitude. This representative was completely different and made me feel heard and respected. She is a great example of the level of professionalism and customer service I believe every patient should receive. Thank you for your help!

My experience here has been extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, after giving this office the benefit of the doubt the first time, I will not be returning. My first visit, I waited over 3 hours just for a consultation. After expressing my concerns about the wait, I was advised to schedule future appointments as early as possible because earlier appointments typically have shorter wait times. For my ultrasound, I followed that advice and scheduled an 8:15 AM appointment. I arrived at 8:10 AM. I watched everyone who arrived around the same time as me get called, and then watched people who arrived after me get called as well. After sitting there for about an hour, I finally went to the front desk and asked for a refund because I was tired of waiting. The woman at the front desk told me that an ultrasound normally should not take this long and that she was surprised no one had called me yet. She then went to speak with the ultrasound technician, and we found out that he had never even received my order or my name. So I had been sitting there that entire time waiting for an appointment that no one had even properly sent over to him. What makes this experience even more upsetting is that during my previous visit, I already felt as though I was being overlooked while watching other patients being called and checked in. As an African American woman in an office where I appeared to be the only non-Latin patient at the time, I initially tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt and not assume discrimination. However, after having another experience where I was seemingly the only person being forgotten while everyone around me was being assisted, it is difficult for me to ignore how this pattern has made me feel. Regardless of the reason, no patient should repeatedly feel forgotten or overlooked. I arrived on time, followed the doctor’s recommendation to book an early appointment, and still wasted over an hour because my information was never provided to the ultrasound technician. On top of the time I lost, I also wasted money taking an Uber because I was advised that parking would be difficult around that time. I am extremely disappointed with how both of my experiences were handled. I gave this office another chance after my first experience, but after this, I would never return or recommend it.

The worst medical care I have ever received. I saw a nurse practitioner, not a Gastro Dr as they only see patients during procedures, and the nurse practitioner I was seen by was unable to answer most of my knowledgable questions about medications and my condition, he only wanted to give me orders to get a colonoscopy procedure and more blood work and medications as if he had a script. After a few questions, he said "You are too picky, this isn't the place for you, you should go somewhere else for care" That was his response to me asking questions about my health. I was shocked! Then I learned after I left and went to the pharmacy that he gave me the wrong prescription, and its Friday afternoon the offices are closed and I'm without meds till next week. Overall a terrible medical center, barely speak English, all Spanish and very rude. I do not recommend this medical center to anyone that cares about their health and advocates for themselves.

They sold me the service for 1500 which I paid. Then1 month later sent me a bill for additional 600. I could had the procedure without insurance for 1300. Is an absolute scam. They never warn you that you are responsible for more money. It costs double if you use your insurance. The 1500 is just to get you as a patient.

would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff, the gastroenterologist Sarol and the anesthesiologist for their exceptional care during my colonoscopy. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the experience comfortable and stress-free. I truly appreciated the outstanding care I received and highly recommend this center.
