Dr. Chua was nothing but a waste of my time and energy. Performed a colonoscopy and did not provide any results for nearly 60 days. I requested answers repeatedly but was told that only the doctor could discuss, but he was booked for the next 6 weeks. When it finally came time to see him, I find out that there was a patient portal the whole time. I get into the portal after the follow up and find that my records have been combined with another patient's, and I have been prescribed a high dose of medication based on another person's health history (known in the compliance world as "medical records overlay") There are appointments in my history that do not belong to me. The medication they prescribed me nearly put me in the hospital. I brought this to their attention 35 days ago and I still do not have amended records. The HIPAA requirement is no less than 30 days. If I don't receive these amended records, my primary wants to order ANOTHER colonoscopy to obtain the information that Dr. Chua’s office failed to provide due to their disorganization and patient neglect. And for what it’s worth, I also woke up from my colonoscopy with bruises around my neck. Who puts their hand around a patients neck during a colonoscopy?
