Coastal Gastroenterology Associates: Wolfman Brian P MD

Went to Dr wolfman with 2 main symptoms, GI concerns, as well as symptoms of a umbilical hernia. Dr refused phsyical exam, never ordered xray or ct, just stool softener and a colonoscopy. Spoke with Dr, and even with saying the lump was still there, he said 'follow up is not necessary' - and zero referral for scans or such. actual procedure went smooth, and was fine. just awful bedside manner, and ZERO follow up. 4k later and within 30 seconds both my upcoming surgeon and a GP both identified the hernia and scoffed that Dr Wolfman didn't even LOOK to diagnose. Will be seeking care elsewhere from now on.

No bedside manner. We disagreed on course of care, and the consultation ended. You can’t switch doctors within the practice which is a terrible rule but that’s a corporate issue.

I met Dr Wolfman after moving to the area in 2022. Yes at times the wait can be a little long, but this is typical for any Specialist I see. I do disagree with the complaints about his bed side manner. He is very personable, listens, schedules tests promptly and is always quick to address any issues I may be having. I highly recommend him to anyone who asks for a referral.

I've never had anything but positive experiences with Dr Wolfman. I've never encountered a long wait, and he patiently listens, makes sure my questions are answered, and doesn't have one hand on the door knob. Super, super nice staff too!

Waiting time was awful, Dr. Wolfman was in a rush regardless I waited so long to meet him. Not satisfied.

Absolutely no bed side manner. Extremely condescending. I wouldn’t trust him taking care of a rock.

Dr Wolfman is wonderful doctor, very professional, knowledgeable and is very thorough in explaining any concerns you may have.

Office is very unorganized kept calling my prescription into the wrong pharmacy and they got aggravated when I called to ask him to make the correction. I've been waiting for weeks for a test to be scheduled they keep telling me he can't get hours at the hospital that I can go to through my insurance, three calls no call back. I was told the office was very unorganized, now I'm seeing it for myself I should have heed everyone's warning. Definitely going to get a new gastroenterologist. Not even worthy of one star.
