I saw Anna in 2021- CoViD was still an issue, we wore masks in her office. I had gained weight, and I went in looking for a mealplan. She said she wouodn't do that, proceeded to explain after some back and forth conversation that I reminded her of the fat little side kick from Book of Mormon (which, if you've seen before is insanelt insulting), and gave me no concrete advice. I've seen a dietician/nutritionist in Jersey City and she was insanely nice, broke down my cooking habits, helped me work on certain decision making to improve my calorie intake and worked with me on understanding a meal plan. By comparison, Anna was just mean and lazy. She is bad enough to write a review for her this many years later, because of how often my Seinfeld-esque visit comes up as a party anecdote for how bad someone is at talking to people.

Worst dietician ever. Such a waste of my time. She said all along to increase my medication for blood sugar, when I want her advice to manage with food and exercise. She also looked at my chart and said that I should get flu and pnemonia shots. If she had given valuable information and then went over these, then that's fine. Also checking whether I had eye exam and dental check up. That's my doctor's job. The only good thing bout the meeting was she explained how to check Dexcom clarity app. Total waste.

I have been to a better dietitian in Florida so I notice the difference. The one at RBWJ prints out something she finds off Google instead of putting together a meal plan geared toward my health issues. She also knew I couldn’t have acidic food and that’s the plan she gave me. She then told me to fix it to what I need. That’s why I came to her because I wasn’t sure what triggered things. That’s her job not mine. Instead of her actually doing the research she tries to take the easy way out. I was disappointed because it’s her job to create a meal plan for each patients. The one I had before puts together a meal plan and types out a list of foods for breakfast lunch dinner and snacks. She’s nice but either she’s lazy or doesn’t know what she’s doing. I never went back and if insurance doesn’t cover it save your $. You can go to google and find the same sheet she did. Biggest waste of time would never go back. I saw Catherine Chan RD. I’m not sure who’s there now but they said she was the only one who worked there as a dietitian.
