This past October my blood test showed my cholesterol numbers were in the danger zone. My physician recommended that I start taking statin medication. I asked him to give me six months to see if I could improve my cholesterol numbers by eating healthier. He agreed to my request. I then contacted Alyson to assist me with a nutrition plan. By working closely with Alyson I was able to achieve my goals within the six month period. She gave me insight on which foods would be helpful and which ones to limit. Her knowledge of nutrition and method of monitoring my eating during this period turned out to be a huge success. This past week my physician informed me that due to the substantial progress I made with respect to my cholesterol, he agreed to hold off the need for medication. I would highly recommend Alyson to anyone who needs nutritional assistance. Thanks to her I am now on the road to a much healthier life.
