I don't know how much to blame the doctor and how much to blame the office staff, but my aunt has had a really bad time here. We were waiting for her endoscopy results because she is in pain and we were hoping some new information would lead to better treatment. The office staff did not want to respond to our inquiries about this and kept telling us to wait for the results to show up in the US mail which seems like the slowest possible way to send them. At one point, one person on the phone let slip that the office had had possession of the pathology report for a week without the doctor even looking at it yet. We asked if we should make an appointment because she's currently in pain and they said wait for the report. Anytime we had a question or request about prescriptions, it took at least three phone calls to get an answer about it. They do not answer voicemails. There is no point in leaving your question in a voicemail. If you speak to someone live and ask your question and get somebody to write it in the chart, no one will ever call you back about it, but if you call back, someone might check the chart and see an answer. At long last the report came: they didn't find anything specific, but no further testing is required? And also if your symptoms persist, make an appointment. I wonder if anyone in the office ever wrote down that we said, over and over, her symptoms were persisting, and she was in pain. Oh, and when we made the appointment for the endoscopy, the time they wrote down on the paperwork packet and the time they recorded in their system were 3.5 hours apart. I don't feel like I'd trust them if they said the sky was blue.

My experience with Dr. Jo's office was very positive. The receptionist was friendly and professional. I was seen at my appointment time. Dr. Jo listened to my information and concerns and was very helpful with his diagnosis and information. It was very easy to understand the information that he presented. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jo.
