Overall, my experience with the front desk, check-in, check-out, and vitals with the medical assistant was great. Front desk and Tiffany were efficient, friendly, and very helpful (I’d give zero stars but I’m giving a star each, for the two of them). However, I saw Dr. Juan Herrera and he was rude, dismissive, didn’t listen, and condescending. I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism with a Wake Med provider in all my years of being a patient here. As a former Wakemed employee, and fellow clinician, I’m sure those aren’t the same values they teach in orientation, that he displayed during my visit. It was very disappointing. I’m confident that his behavior is not a reflection of Wakemed and I hope going forward, he makes better decisions as a provider.

Everybody was great. Dr. Chowdhury is the best. Came before and after procedure. Just love him. The staff was wonderful, a few names I remember Juliann, Anita, Anestheiologist doctor put my hospital issue socks on for me. Everything went quickly, didn't even have time to read book I brought. They called Saturday to see how I was doing, couldn't have a better experience. Thanks everyone ya'll rock!!!!!

Do not go here. Very unprofessional, I was not greeted when I came in, the check in monitor was broken. The place was very quiet. I wouldn't stick with wake med as a company.

Dr. Chowdhury is extremely professional: he takes time to listen and time to explain. He’s a doctor that always shows his genuine concern.
