My experience after the prep, from walking into the building to leaving was wonderful. Every staff member was so helpful and kind. I was well taken care of. Dr. Gao is a sweetheart. The prep, on the other hand, was traumatizing. It was 2 bottles you mixed with water. Drank one the night before and the other the morning of. Barely kept the 1st bottle down. The morning of, I drank the 2nd bottle and violently vomited everything up. I was so nauseous when I got to the building. But as soon as I was prepped they gave me an anti-nausea med. Unfortunately, it didn't stay that way. I was nauseous everyday for about 5 days after. I swear I could still smell and taste it. Needless to say, I will never take that prep again. It is true, the colonoscopy is nothing compared to the prep.

I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Gao! She’s the perfect mix of being very professional and knowledgeable, to just being a kind and humble human being. Her office staff is wonderful, too. I highly recommend Dr. Gao.
