The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology West at SW Barnes Rd

First time going here and everyone was so professional and friendly. Greeted with a smile & welcoming receptionist. Then I saw Dr. Kathryn Eischeid and she was wonderful. Patient while I asked all my questions, good at explaining my diagnosis and friendly. I would recommend this clinic.

I am extremely happy with the care I received at this clinic, specifically from Dr. Manisha Apte. I have always been terrified of medical procedures, and for years I avoided getting the tests I needed because of that fear. From my very first appointment, Dr. Apte was so kind and reassuring that I finally found the courage to schedule my endoscopy and colonoscopy. Even after scheduling the procedures, there were many times when I wanted to call and cancel because my anxiety was getting the best of me. But I kept remembering how supportive she was, and I knew I was in good hands. That gave me the confidence to go through with the procedures. Everything went smoothly, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Dr. Apte, for your compassion, great patience and exceptional care.

Great staff and didn't have to wait at all. Nurses and Doctors are fantastic.

Do not go here unless you have excellent insurance. My office visit alone was $700. They pushed very expensive tests and never discussed more affordable options that could have been tried first. It felt like the focus was on what my insurance would cover rather than finding a reasonable treatment plan. If your insurance doesn’t have great coverage, be prepared for huge bills and the possibility of going into medical debt. I left feeling frustrated and like cost-conscious care was never part of the conversation.

From my experience, I would not recommend this place. Not personable not caring. Dont think I ever got to talk to the same person twice. 600 for a consultation after my referral, was a phone call not even an office visit. Got my procedure. It was packed not even a chair to fill out paperwork and more were comming in. Afterward, they like to call you when they can, not schedule. I asked for a time I can be scheduled to discuss more options again. Another apointment with another person ive not talked to before. Try to look up note to review what was talked about and was vage. I am not a Dr. I do not understand what is happening I just want answers.

Employees here are very kind and helpful. I took my daughter today to have a test done and they were wonderful. Nice place with friendly faces. The kind of place you will be cared for by a knowledgeable staff.

At my yearly checkup, Izabela Maciolek determined that she needs more information about my liver, which had some elevated readings along with my history of heavy drinking. So I'm scheduled for a scan that will measure how hard the liver is and some elaborate feces collection for further testing. Good to get to the bottom of it now.
