After three years of infertility, countless doctor’s appointments and fertility consults, we were told we had unexplained infertility. At that time, we made the decision to work with English and are so thankful we did! After only working with her for 6 months we were able to conceive naturally, on the first try. English took the time to dig deep and look for the root cause of our infertility. She specifically addressed each area of concern all while answering any and every question we had. She truly took the time to see us as people, not just a client. She has been an answered prayer in our life and is a huge piece of why we get to snuggle our sweet baby boy each night. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Her practice is simply the best and so is she!

My experience working with English on my health journey was life-changing. Her knowledge, insight, and compassion helped me to identify some root causes of the autoimmune symptoms that were negatively impacting my health. She is like a “health detective,” asking questions to determine why might I have been struggling so much with my health, in spite of all efforts I was putting into my well-being. Through a combination of questions, conversation, testing, reviewing results, and determining a course of treatment, I have experienced improvement from my symptoms associated with MS, mold exposure, and chronic Lyme disease. Not only did my symptoms improve, but I also gained awareness of how my body heals, and the empowerment to advocate for myself and my health goals. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with English!

Working with English has been a beautiful experience. I feel very grateful to have had the privilege to work 1:1 with her. She is very knowledgable, she will meet you where you are in your health journey. She teaches you, guides you, and she will tailor to your goals in a way that is approachable and not overwhelming; she is mindful of your struggles, provides great and compassionate care and feedback, a quality that seems to be lost nowadays in healthcare providers. She makes you feel acknowledged and heard when it comes to your symptoms while she goes the extra mile to find the answers and root causes of your health challenges and concerns. She is honest, compassionate, caring, and will provide you with the necessary tools to improve and succeed in your wellness journey. She is indeed a gift and a blessing to have crossed paths with. I learned greatly from her and I was able to tackle chronic illness and underlying causes with success, I wish I could've started working with her sooner.

I had the privilege of working with both English and Lauren in hopes of getting to the bottom of my recurrent miscarriages. Both went above and beyond to make me feel heard after coming from a provider that told me “just keep trying and one will eventually stick”. I knew in the deepest of my soul that something wasn’t right despite being told the cliche statistic of “1 in 4” which in itself also shouldn’t be seen as normal. After finding a plan that was budget friendly for me, we discovered there was so much dysfunction going on in my body that the two living children I have were simply miracles. From my gut being absolutely wrecked to chronically high viral levels my immune system was constantly fighting (and so much more) we actually found concrete answers by simply doing the work most providers don’t want to do or that insurance won’t cover. My husband and I are just beginning the process of trying to conceive again. While we don’t know what the future holds, I am more confident in my body’s ability to conceive life as God designed than I ever have been before. It is night and day the difference I feel, and that is truly because of English and Lauren, who gave me the knowledge and resources to reset and take care of my body in a healthy and nourishing way. I could not recommend The Nourishing Tree enough.

English has been a wonderful partner in our fertility journey! As a healthcare provider I had never experienced functional medicine approaches but English is incredibly knowledgeable and her treatment recommendations produced the best results of anything else I had tried.
