Dr. Akerman is very knowledgeable, proficient and accommodating. I didn't initially schedule an endoscopy but felt this procedure was needed. Dr. Akerman was able to include an endoscopy along with my colonoscopy procedure at the last minute.

Dr. Akerman was fantastic. I was cared for by him and his team last week, and the experience was excellent. He took the time to speak with me and clearly explain the procedure, which helped me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process. After the procedure, he personally visited me to discuss the findings and outline the next steps. I recently changed doctors and chose him and his practice, and I am very pleased with my decision. I highly appreciate the compassion, professionalism, and quality of care I received.

Dr Ackerman, is very detailed in his diagnosis and his procedures.What I liked the best was a detailed report and his follow up.

Dr. Akerman is kind, funny, and has a great bedside manner! He performed my upper EGD and colonoscopy quickly, professionally, and also addressed any concerns I had regarding the procedure. He even took the initiative to look over my chart several times outside of us meeting to bring possiblities of things we should test or look for. If I wasn't already planning on moving to a new state, I would keep him as my GI doctor.
