I was hoping for an earlier appointment to see him afterward for results, as I was clearly wracked with nerves regarding my diagnosis. However, when I saw him again, I was able to get my questions answered as well as get the referral and references I needed to carry me through and get me started on my new lifestyle. I have been a patient of Dr Levinson for over 8 years. I have had 2 Colonoscopies during that time and going in now for a 3rd. These Procedures naturally create Anxiety especially if it’s your first one. Dr Levinson brings vast knowledge and a peaceful calm. He is a safe place. His Office Staff and Nurses are Gracious and helpful. I have recommended Dr Levinson many times to Friends, Family, and anyone who asks. I believe I’m sending them to the best there is in his field. Excellent Gastro. Always has time to answer all my questions, never rushed, friendly and straightforward. I appreciate his candor and honesty and you can tell he is VERY well educated and experienced with years of practice. I always feel safe with his recommendations, procedures, etc. I mean who ever WANTS a colonoscopy?? But his office made scheduling super easy, Dr. Levinson made me feel safe and assured that all would go well, and it did. Could not recommend this dr. more.

I was referred to Dr Levinson by the VA for a colonoscopy. I was required to go for a pre-surgical consult which seemed to go well, nice office in Burbank which is always good. Wow I was mistaken! Dr Levinson nor anyone form the Practice followed up. After 45 days from the consult I stared calling. I logged a total of 8 calls. % were with people working, three were voicemails. No one returned my calls until after 60 days This is a very poorly run medical practice. If they can't do the little things right why trust them with surgery. I assume they don't really care about VA referrals and veterans in general or this would not have happened Get your care somewhere else

I called Dr. Levinson's medical group, which consists of 10 doctors, for an urgent appointment. I was bleeding from my anus. The office only had one person manning the phones, and she only spoke broken english. She was obviously overloaded and kept breaking away to deal with other calls, so that I could not get a complete sentence with her. When I finally got my message across, and after a long wait, she said I could get an appointment a week from Wednesday (it was a Monday). I repeated to her I was bleeding, and she said something in Spanish and hung up. This medical group is obviously in dire straits and about to shutter its doors. Please run from them. Save your life
