Doctor Koniaris took care of my son for quite a few years. She diagnosed him finally with what 3 other doctors missed. She was very attentive and easy to talk to all the time through those years. Her office staff, I cannot comment enough about how responsive they were, Sandy and Kate were just exceptional. I always got a call back from them no matter what I called about and the response time was also excellent. Wonderful I should say. I wish we still had that office but unfortunately my son had to be moved to a regular GI office now and goodness, how we miss Dr. Koniaris and her staff. I highly recommend her and her office. I am trying to make an appointment for more than 1 week, and the receptionist is rude and aggressive when I don't understand something well, she hangs up the phone. Not recommended

Excellent doctor!!!

Very unprofessional, inconsiderate and disorganized practice. My son has been vomiting almost every day at school since mid-fall last year. He attends an autism school in Princeton. We scheduled an 11:00 am appointment in mid-December last year for Valentine’s Day this year with Dr. Weidner. We waited TWO MONTHS for the appointment that day, for which I had to take my son out of school. I received a call that morning during my own occupational therapy appointment from the scheduler, after we had canceled my son’s transportation for the day, notifying me that Dr. Weidner was canceling because she decided to go out on maternity leave THAT DAY. I was so inconvenienced I had to drive my son down to Princeton so he could get to school. No one called promptly to reschedule. After following up several times, I was offered a 1:30 pm appointment with Dr. Capone a week later, who then also called out sick the morning of the appointment, but not sick enough to be able to offer a “virtual visit,” which I declined as I felt my son needed to be physically examined. Due to this cancellation, I had to drive again down to Princeton and pick my son up after school with the plan that he would have been pulled out early. The scheduler then asked me if I wanted a 3pm appointment with Dr. Capone on another day. I told her it would have to be at 3:30 pm because my son arrives home by then and we live close by. She had the nerve to ask me if I could go down and pull him out of school again for the 3:00 pm appointment. I said I would not do that and I told her I made appointment with CHOP because they are a better hospital anyway. I have lived in New Brunswick for 15 years. I’m an employee of a major pharmaceutical company. I have never in my life been jerked around so much by a medical practice. The quality, consideration for patients and the empathy of of RWJ physicians has seriously deteriorated. Needless to say, I think a lot of patients are seeking treatment at Penn Medicine because of this.

Dr koniaris helped me when I was a kid and I think helped save me and I’m perfectly fine now I was so young but I will never forget her and her kind heart!! Always made me feel safe! Much love ♾ ❤️

What an amazing doctor! Took plenty of time with us, showed compassionate and in the same time looks so professional and confident. This is the 3rd Ped GI we have been to, but finally we found someone who we can rely on to get our life back!

Dr. Koniaris not only saved my son's life, both she & her staff provided the best patient care I have ever seen. I have worked in healthcare since 1988. My son & I both have multiple medical conditions requiring multiple physicians & healthcare providers. She truly is the best!
