Dr sab is and excellent Dr very caring and knowledgeable I went to to sab with a life threatening liver condition and Dr sab ended up saving my life would highly recommend any one to see him.

When I went down to UCLA to see Dr. Saab, he seemed generally concerned he was very nice. He said don’t worry we are going to get to the bottom of what’s going on with your liver. Lots of blood work was done, I had a follow up visit through telehealth to go over my bloodwork he told me he didn’t see anything that I was fine, He was not the nice guy that I had met in his office, he was very short with me Never said hello when he got on the video call, he was very as a matter-of-fact, he basically just hung up on me when he finished. I feel because he couldn’t find anything I was not worth his time, My liver enzymes continue to spike so I guess my next step is to go to Cedar Sinai.

Dr Saab is excellent and helped me through a very debilitating condition. Trying to participate in his fatty liver clinic now.

Patient Review for Dr. Saab – UCLA Hepatology I have been a patient at UCLA Hepatology for over 20 years. When Dr. Durazo retired, my care was transitioned to Dr. Saab. At our first appointment, I felt hopeful—he came across as knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Unfortunately, over time, that initial impression did not hold up. Appointments with Dr. Saab were extremely brief—never more than two minutes—despite waiting months for each visit. I began to feel as though I was just another name on a list, rather than a patient with serious, ongoing health concerns. On one occasion, I asked him whether there were any treatment options for my PVT. He assured me that he would consult with a group of specialists, whom he referred to as "wizards" in the field, and promised to follow up with an answer. That follow-up never came. It’s deeply disappointing to feel dismissed when you're seeking answers and care for a serious condition. I strongly recommend that patients seek a second opinion—doing so could be essential for your well-being.

I first want to say that Dr Saab is a nice person who I do believe is a very good doctor. However, for me it wasn't the right fit. I had doubts about the care i was receiving quite early but was assured that he was very respected by his colleagues and peers. While that might be the case, I have managed to find much more thorough, thoughtful and satisfactory care at Cedars Sinai. I share this only because if you too find yourself having doubts about this particular doctor, or any doctor, I encourage you to do what feels right for you. At the end of the day, it's your life, your body and it needs to fit your needs.

Dr. Saab did not act upon what he promised. Not a good doctor. Did not stick it out and help his patient. Do not recommend!

Dr. Saab was extremely disappointing. He gave up trying to find what was wrong with my mother after one visit. This was after assuring her that they would get to the bottom of her issue. Giving up so quickly makes me think he isn’t a very smart doctor. I would expect more out of UCLA
