If it's possible to have a great colonoscopy, I did. Every single person I interacted with made eye contact, was professional and made me feel like I was in good hands. It went without a hitch and was far more pleasant than the prep itself.

The worst. I had my procedure done three weeks ago and my follow up appointment is in November. So I guess I’m supposed to figure out my own health issues until then. They did at least proscribe some medications for my issue but no info on my condition. Now if I could find someone to tell me why I’m on the meds. Thank god for YouTube. Rush gastro is clearly overwhelmed. Phone tag with the nurse sucks.

Came in after a GERD diagnosis. I was interested in learning more about it. This is supposed to be a life long chronic condition so information is key. I was basically told the generic “ Sleep elevated don’t eat 3-4 hours before bed, no chocolate, coffee, spicy food, onions, garlic and fatty or fried foods.” I wasn’t given much else in terms of information. After A month and a half I called in saying the meds were not working and I felt worse. The nurse would get back to me and basically she said take more she said I know this isn’t what you want to hear but when you have your endoscopy we will know more then proceeded to tell me to take protonix that wasn’t covered by my insurance and I asked if it was safe to take while breast feeding. She said she would get back and never did. 2 months of PPI that didn’t work I had an endoscopy. Was told it was mild damage and had an inflamed stomach lining. That was it. No information on the next plan. A week later my test results for the biopsy came in and I had a call from the nurse who basically read to me what I already saw online. Her exact words any questions call the office well hello I am on the line and asked what that meant. She is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever experienced. She is useless. Almost as useless as the GI doctor. They’d just prescribe you PPI’s and tell you nothing else. I basically gave up and will look elsewhere for care. The office staff were much more nicer and courteous. I do not recommend Rush they earned all their bad reviews. We need doctors looking to cure or treat not mask symptoms and cause more problems. Otherwise we all are better off self diagnosing.
