Working with Monica has been an amazing experience! She’s taken the time to understand my lifestyle and created personalized nutrition recommendations that made me feel supported and confident in my food choices. I've gained a much better understanding of how to structure my meals and have already noticed significant improvements in how I feel, including reduced bloating and improvements in my skin. Her guidance has made a positive impact in a short amount of time, and I highly recommend her! 😊

Sheri has been nothing but a kindhearted, patient and insightful person to me during our sessions. Her insights into nutrition and her care for me has made me into a better version of myself, and I am so excited to see where my wellness journey takes me with Sheri’s help!

After (2) months of back and forth with Sheri-(she wanted me to work with her colleague first). Right from the get go we established that insurance would not cover this. We discussed rates - and a red flag went off when she bragged that naturopaths were much higher than her rates. She was following up with my initial inquiry while on vacation. I proceeded with caution - and then things got tangled up when I tried to establish myself on her app “Healthie”. She absolutely made sure she had my credit card info and insisted I register on “Healthie”. My husband’s info was mingled with mine - on the app. I tried a different email at her insistence - my preferred email wasn’t going thru. I phone the app company direct. **Something Sherri should have explored - not me.** I was concerned that I didn’t have a zoom link prior to the appointment and pursued that. (My husband has a gazillion specialists and never have any practitioners behaved this way). Anyways, I dodged a bullet. I have experienced concierge doctors before - but none of them this manipulative. She was not accommodating. She was trying to reel in a client. That was the agenda. The assistant texted me and suggested to have our initial by phone. That made sense. Within the hour my scheduled appt (on a holiday weekend) was canceled. The whole thing was weird - not a good look and not impressed with Sheri’s insinuation that I possibly had an old laptop. It is not. Was I not comfortable with Zoom? Nope - I have at least 4 zoom meetings per week. Well we parted ways and it is just as well because I was beginning to feel pressured and anxious with this “process” and since I have wonderful insurance - that is the route I am more comfortable with.

Monica has been patient. She listened to all my concerns in regard to a healthy diet. As an aging woman on the autism spectrum, I looked for a holistic approach to self-care. I've had mental, emotional and social health struggles since I was a kid. I've also had trouble with trying to lose weight for decades. I was told I have subclinical hypothyroidism. I'm prediabetic. So I took it upon myself to do research on every self-care domain there is (Theology, exercise, nutrition, therapy, social boundaries, interdependence, etc. ). I'm an active Christian. I try to maintain a healthy prayer life as well. I needed a way to optimize and organize my eating habits. I worried about the natural hormonal fluctuations that women go through that lead to experiences like PMS/PMDD. The natural aging process would get me sad so I looked for ways to increase my protein and mineral intake for building muscle and strong bones, among other things with hopes of aging gracefully. Monica gave great advice on proper nutrition. I let her know that I tried fasting and that I was losing weight. She recommended small balanced meals and that I keep track of drinking enough water everyday. I don't normally have sleep issues. I found it odd that I was feeling unusually sleepy at work. I would still sleep like a rock but I would feel an overwhelming need to go to sleep a few hours before my regular sleep hour. I was working out almost everyday of the week. I thought my body was just adjusting. Monica pointed out when in the day I should actually increase my protein intake. I realized there were still areas on my journey towards a balanced diet that needed my attention. My sleep has now gone back to normal after adjusting my meals and sticking to cycle syncing exercise. I'm making more mindful eating choices. I'm motivated to reach my fitness goals. I look forward to my workouts. Little by little, I'm managing my weight. Also, Monica suggested daily supplements according to my needs that have been a huge blessing. Along with the adequate amount of water I'm drinking everyday, the supplements I've been taking have made an exceptional impact on my health. I don't wake up as achy. I'm full of energy. My joints don't feel like a tin man who needs an oil change. My cognitive health and my mood are thriving. I was already preparing for the crippling puppy love like depression type of feelings I would normally expect during that time of the month but it's as though I've bio hacked and now it's gone. I thank God for that since I've struggled for years trying to find the sweet spot that works so that I may be better able to balance my self-care/selfless values. Monica is an excellent health care provider.

Working with Monica has honestly been such a game changer for me. It’s only been a little over a month since we started, and I’m already seeing amazing results not just physically, but in how I feel day to day. Her advice is super practical and easy to follow, and she really takes the time to tailor everything to you. One thing I really appreciate is how understanding and flexible she is, especially if you’ve got a hectic work or school schedule. She makes it easy to stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks to her support, I’m finally building healthy habits that actually stick. If you’re thinking about working with a nutritionist, I recommend giving Monica a try. You’ll be so glad you did!
