After seeing several doctors, including a gastroenterologist, without any relief from abdominal pain and spasms after eating, I went to Dr. Gorcey for a second opinion. Dr Gorcey took the time to hear my story and immediately diagnosed me correctly with an abdominal wall strain. I followed his protocol of taking a daily probiotic, digestive enzymes with meals, and going dairy free to allow my gut to heal. Although I was getting better, I was still experiencing some abdominal pain. On a follow up appointment, after a physical exam, he diagnosed me with visceral hypersensitivity - where the nerves in the gut overreact to normal digestive processes. He took the time to explain in layman’s terms what all this meant. He prescribed medication that helped immensely. My second follow up was today. I am happy to share I am feeling so much better, pain free, and have resumed my normal diet. I am incredibly grateful to Dr Gorcey. He was able to diagnosis and treat my issues when so many other doctors could not. If you are researching different gastroenterologists, you can’t go wrong with Dr. Gorcey. You could not be in better hands.

People put off doing a colonoscopy . Much to my surprise the prep was easy and the procedure was as good as I could ask for. Dr Gorcey is the best !! I highly recommend. M Beda

I recently had a consult with Dr. Gorcey and was scheduled for a routine colonoscopy. I cannot say enough about him. He is kind, patient, explains everything and has the best bedside manner. He also has a revised prep for a colonoscopy which is quick and simple. Your prep lasts two hours. I highly recommend Dr. Gorcey.

The best GI DR ....!!!!

Dr. Gorcey is treating my mom for Gave a rare gastric bleeding disorder. He thinks outside the box. Is trying a new banding approach that so far has worked. I highly recommend him.

I put this preventive procedure off way longer than I should have, making it in my mind some big, uncomfortable, inconvenient thing, and it was none of that at all. Dr. Gorcey and his staff were so easy, welcoming, and accommodating. They made the colonoscopy pre-screen, prep and procedure a cinch, and I will never waist time procrastinating again. Dr. Gorcey is so warm, experienced and knowledgeable, and now my whole extended family has seen him and benefitted from his diagnostic skill and expertise.
