Mark S DeVore, MD

I went to see Dr. Devore after being referred to him by my PC Physicians office. He is by far the absolute worst doctor I have visited in my entire life. He is rude and has no bedside manners at all. He made me feel awful for even coming to see him. After reviewing part of my, MY CHART report he said why didn't you go back to see Dr. ? (rather not name him) Looks like you're not dedicated/devoted to anyone. I told him I was there because my PC Doctors office referred me to him(My PC Doctor was on vacation so the staff referred me to Dr. Devore) He humiliated me and made me feel like some kind of moron for being there. I said , very nicely and apologetically ,looks like I wasted your time and mine. He said, Mostly Mine. I couldn't"t believe my ears. He then couldn't"t get out of the room fast enough. He went across the hall and proceeded to talk about me then realized the door was open and someone closed it. He is the worst by far. Do better Dr. Devore. You give Henry Ford Providence Health a bad reputation.

I saw Dr. Stawick for years he retired he really listened and had compassion when I wasn’t feeling well this Dr has no compassion or bedside manner. I asked him a question via portal at my primary care physician and cardiologist urging. He responded but then I called because I had questions. His immediate response was “ How could you possibly have any questions when I sent you 20 pages.” He sent me less than a paragraph. Then proceeded to berate me for my weight and age. He has no idea how hard I have worked on weight loss. My other Doctors concerned I have elevated liver enzymes this is how my medical journey started over 17 years ago and I ended up with a rare cardiac myxoma so of course I am worried. Don’t go here if you want compassion and care.

Rude and Unprofessional

WOULDN'T KNOW HOW DR. DEVORE IS? HIS RECEPTIONIST WAS SO RUDE WHEN SHE CALLED ME BACK TO SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT! I WAS SO TURNED OFF BY HER TONE AND ATTITUDE I QUICKLY ENDED THE CALL AND STARTED LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR! I CAN IMAGINE IF HIS STAFF IS THAT IGNORANT MUST BE ALSO. TO MY KNOWLEDGE YOUR STAFF IS A REFLECTION OF YOU!

Dr Devore hands down is one of the best gastro Drs around. I've been seeing him for over 30 years. He has a great bedside manner, very personable and always calls me with the results good or bad in fact one time he even called me at night as he was playing catch up on his work. He also has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend him you won't be disappointed.
