I would highly recommend Dr. Mark W. Russo to anyone needing a liver specialist. He listens to what you are saying. Very compassionate and cares about how his patients are feeling. If you do not understand something, he will make sure that you understand before you leave. His PA and any staff member in that office is very polite and helpful and compassionate.

Dr. Russo is not only and obviously an incredible doctor in his field but even more importantly his ability to bond with his patients and listen to their individual methods of dealing with liver disease are outstanding and should be taught as part of the process of becoming a doctor. There are so many possibly effective approaches to health care outside of the standard AMA approach that have been ignored by the medical community. In my case at least Dr. Russo has been open minded and encouraging. The results have been great.

I've been a patient of Dr Russo for 7 yrs since moving to the Charlotte NC area . His caring and friendly personality makes me feel very comfortable. He keeps informed and I'm on a yearly follow up schedule to monitor my condition.
