Dr Laszlo Makk has been my preferred GI for several years. The most compassionate doctor I've ever seen. This man truly cares for his patients. He is one in a million.

I have only been to Dr Maak for colonoscopies and each time I leave there thinking how nice he seems!! Just seems genuine and sincere. Great bed side manners. Just wanted to thank him!

I have been a patient of Dr Makk for over 20 years. He is the best Dr hands down I have ever been to . Dr Makk is the most compassionate and involved physician I have ever met. He listens to you as if you are the only patient he has , keeps up with procedures you need (like a colonoscopy) and makes sure you get the correct Rx for your condition.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Makk for 5-6 years now and he exceeds expectations in every interaction. I recently began trouble swallowing again due to a esophageal stricter and reached out to his office, due to extensive work travel my time in Louisville is limited currently, Dr.Makk was able to squeeze me into his schedule for an EGD on short notice. His team and staff are always professional, courteous and willing to assist. Thanks Dr. Makk!!

Dr. Makk is the most compassionate, attentive, caring, and BEST GI doctor in Louisville, KY! I have been seeing him for 15 years & he is one of my favorite all time doctors. I chose to have my 1st colonoscopy at age 45 (5 yrs prior to the recommended age of 50 by the CDC). Had I not done this, I would most likely not be alive today. Being referred to Dr. Makk was an absolute blessing and someone I now call a friend. He has personally followed through with me on results, next steps & even provided recommendations & assurances to me regarding my son’s oncologist. I simply CANNOT thank him enough for all that he has done. Do yourself a favor & go see Dr. Makk!! You will find that he is the most trusting, empathetic, caring & committed GI doctor in KY!!! He truly cares for the well-being & longevity of ALL of his patients!!

Dr. Makk is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I have ever met. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained everything thoroughly. I was impressed by his medical expertise, but also his compassion and genuine care for his patients. Not many doctors combine professionalism with kindness. I highly recommend him if you want the Rolls-Royce of doctors. Or you could settle for a Ford Pinto! Your body - Your choice.

I recommend Dr Makk without hesitation! After my 2nd visit w Dr Makk he most definitely has taken the #1spot as most compassionate Dr I have ever met & I m 68! I have had bowel issues my whole life & for the first time in my life he has given me plenty of tools in my toolbox to try to regulate thgs. They r working & just need a little tweeking to find the perfect combo. The whole office is so kind & professional as well. The only negative is sometimes phone system has issues. If that occurs persistence pays off. Thank you Dr Makk & staff! ♥️
