Update: I need to see a gastroenterologist. Dr. Browns’s group merged with another group so they now have a monopoly across the state. Not one gastro doctor in that large group would see me because they said well you saw Dr. Brown and he has to release you as a patient and even if he does we usually do not allow patients to transfer. I can only assume Dr. Brown got his feelings hurt because I did not want to see him again for a variety of reasons. Poor Dr. Brown, I guess he is so sensitive. I plan to file a grievance with the Texas Medical Board and also will call local television stations and reporters to discuss this monopoly and what I believe to be an unethical medical practice for the group to have such a policy. I am also going to file a complaint with the Texas AG’ Consumer Affairs Department. What a stupid policy. I finally found an “honest” GI doctor that didn’t care what Dr. Brown or his group had to say. This is so anti-trust. We need to pass a law to prevent this unethical behavior by doctors. Many doctors think they are Gods but in reality they are just highly educated greedy clowns. But there are some ethical and honest physicians out there. I would avoid this ridiculous group and would not take my dog to get treated by any of these doctors at his practice. And the CEO of the group should be ashamed of himself, but I am sure the Texas Medical Board will be contacting him. This is why we need single payer health care to strip these physicians of their anti-trust powers. I am changing my original review from 5 stars to 1 star. I like Dr. Brown but I am giving 1 star because I am so disappointed that I went to him with an issue and it has become worse. I tried to make an appointment to see him and he is not available for over 3 months so I asked if he would allow me to see one of his colleagues within the same group. I was told that the Group does “not allow” in-Group transfers so now I need to go find a brand new Group not associated with Dr. Brown. I do not recommend this Group because if your condition gets worse, even though there are more than 25 physicians, they think they own you. What a stupid policy.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Brown and his team. Going in for a GI procedure can be stressful, but everyone was so professional and comforting. Dr. Brown listened to my concerns and took the time to answer all my questions without rushing, and the recovery process was smooth and well-explained. I highly recommend Dr. Brown to anyone needing a great gastroenterologist!

I just had my second colonoscopy with Dr. Brown. I was able to get scheduled quickly and the office staff provided easy to understand directions for the prep. I had a last minute question the day before my procedure, and Melissa got right back to me. Everything was very organized the day of my procedure. Dr. Brown has a great bedside manner and put my mind at ease. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great guy but his PA Megan and supporting staff are the worst in the industry. They don’t respond to pharmacies requesting refills for medications I’ve been taking for 15 years. Getting them to call you back is a zero percent chance. Find another provider that manages their team to be accountable to the care of patients.

Round two in the books! While nobody puts "take 20 pills and hang out near a bathroom" on their bucket list, Dr. Kenneth Brown and his team make the actual procedure absolute smooth sailing. Fast, painless, and professional from start to finish. With colon cancer rates on the rise, getting screened is no joke—even if the prep gives you plenty of comedic material. I’m already getting my wife prepped for her turn in a couple of months. If you’re due for a screening in DFW, do yourself (and your gut) a favor and book with Dr. Brown!

If you've been dismissed by other GI Doctors, or told you probably have IBS go home and suffer, then Dr Brown is for you! Yes, he's busy and it takes longer to get an appointment, but it's very worth it! He takes on the tough cases. He's kind and patient and takes his time to listen. He develops his own line of treatments and supplements, and offers solutions that other doctors don't have.
