My partner has been in agonizing pain for months, desperately hoping for some relief with an appointment with her. However, Brenner seemed quite rude, checked out, busy, and not willing to actually listen to my partner. It feels like the words my partner said did not reach Brenner at all, it was very upsetting. It also felt like she was more interested in talking to me instead of the actual patient. As my partner's caregiver, this was crushing. My partner is barely holding on to living, given her chronic pain and these new stomach problems of near daily vomiting. And yet again, doctors in her life disregard what she says and are more interested in following a script. I was really hoping for more 💔

Everyone, everything was done in a very comfortable fashion for me. All of the individuals that assisted through the procedure were fantastic. I was completely comfortable and at ease in throughout the entire experience.

I had a really negative experience with Dr. Brenner. She was not warm, understanding, or empathetic, and I felt very invalidated by her responses. She started the appointment by framing my experience as "complaining" about my symptoms, and when I offered to share the medical symptom log I had been keeping, she told me I was "over tracking". She made a number of medically inaccurate and borderline racist statements: I am adopted with no known family history, and she asked me "how certain I was that I was Chinese" and that there is no way I could have celiac because Chinese people "100% don't get celiac", and that pre-eclampsia has no impact on future cardiovascular health. I was really taken aback by her poor bedside manner and I would not recommend her as a physician.

The whole experience was professional, prompt, and as painless as possible.
