Dr Harper is the most compassionate, knowledeable Dr I have ever met! Not only is he incredibly professional, he is patient, caring and truly a remarkbably brilliant Doctor. He stays up to date with the latest research and patiently walks you through the process, ideas and is there for you every step of the way. I have honestly never come across a Dr that genuinely cares about every one of his patients the way he does. I am so thankful to have him there to bounce ideas off and grateful for such an awesome team he works with! I feel at peace knowing that he is really on the forefront of treatments and wants only the best for his patients! I know your example of care towards your patients doesn't go unnoticed by your collegues and hope the rest of the medical community looks to your genuine care and expertise as the best method of practice!! I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis over 30 years ago. Now I also have diverticulitis. A prior doc recommended j-pouch surgery. Saw another surgeon for a 2nd opinion who recommended Dr. Harper. I was blown away when I met him. He did more to educate me on my condition in my time with him than all the other docs I’ve had put together. He’d thoroughly read my medical records and recommended against surgery, as did the surgeon who recommended him. Not only does he know his stuff, but it's clear that he and his staff care about their patients. My wife was super impressed by them when I had my colonoscopy there last year. I’ve been a patient of Dr Harper for 12 years. He’s always compassionate and kind. If there’s something he is unsure of he will reach out to other Dr’s for assistance. He’s amazing at thinking outside the box.

Dr Harper is the best GI doctor I ever had and I have had more than 15 of them. I have had undiagnosed conditions for years & several missed diagnosis for years until Dr Harper became my GI doc. He will go above & beyond for his patients with as much transparency as possible & he always puts the doctors code of ethics of do no harm first and foremost. Dr Harper is human, but I am convinced he's got a little super powers, fairy dust, or magic hidden up his sleeve. I have gone through a lot with Dr Harper being my doctor & he has moved faster getting results than any other doctor I have been to. I am pleased. I do get he's human and has flaws and can't always make it happen, but he will sure try.

I have never been so impressed with a doctor in my life, and I have many weird diseases and health complications so I’ve seen a TON of doctors. Like others have said, he is more human than most. He is also definitely more emotionally evolved than any other GI have seen and seems to have a genuine concern for his patients and not only their physical well being, but also their mental health. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you’ve been struggling to find answers to your health problems. I’ve only been seeing him for a short time, but he’s already shown he will do everything he can to help his patients.

He is a very caring doctor. Extremely knowledgeable regarding the disease process and options available for treatment. He spends a lot of quality time with me and my son providing education and information. One can tell he is passionate about what he does. I feel like my son is in the best hands.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Harper over the past 8 years. He has always been genuinely concerned with my health and wellbeing and has gone above and beyond to try to find answers for my ails. I recently underwent a small bowel resection at his recommendation and the results were exactly as he had anticipated. I was under the care of another doctor when I had my surgery (due to Dr. Harper moving from Swedish to Harborview) yet Dr. Harper still reached out to me personally to follow-up after my surgery. Dr Harper is friendly, courteous, and highly regarded by his peers. You would be hard pressed to find better care!
