During my first visit, Dr Chong took the time to review all my previous records from other providers and went through them with me asking pertinent questions and then explained the course of action and procedures to address the medical issues at hand. He explained everything thoroughly and I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Chong to anyone looking for an outstanding doctor.

Dr Chong is pleasant, caring and detailed. He does not rush the exam and responds to every area of concern.

Dr Chong is very thorough & excellent GI doctor who never rushes you out. Very considerate & confident doctor. I had a pancreatic cyst diagnosed by him and had a surgery done long time ago and I know nobody could have found this during GI & colonoscopy unless someone like Doctor Chong who takes time & do the through examination. He is a hard to find classical jam these days.

This week, I underwent a double procedure performed by Dr James Chong at the Delray Outpatient Center. I was about seven years overdue, but I had postponed it repeatedly because my previous experience elsewhere had been so unpleasant. This time, however, was a completely different story. It began with my initial appointment with Dr Chong, who was knowledgeable, caring and understanding. He immediately inspired a great deal of confidence. On the day of the procedure, I discovered that his entire staff is equally wonderful. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable. They were incredibly helpful in calming my nerves, as I was feeling quite anxious. When the nurse woke me up from the anesthesia, Dr Chong was right there by my bed to share the good news that everything looked good. I have already told two of my friends that they can confidently and fearlessly schedule their procedure with Dr. Chong’s practice, and I highly recommend him to everyone. My husband even joked that since I’m so excited about how well it went, he thinks I should go back and do it all again next week. 😀
