I have been a patient of Dr. Stein for over 25 years. I know because of his quick actions and decisions for my care he has saved my life. As I have told my friends, he doesn’t play with the wait and see philosophy. He just goes ahead and takes care of you. I have recommended him to many friends that now go to him.

Dr Stein took time to listen and establish a plan to take care of my medical issues. He truly cares about his patients. The professionalism started at the front desk. Every person I came in contact with at his office was very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Stein was a new physician for me. I moved from Knoxville. My Neurologist told me about you practice. He asked me rudely who referred me. Dr. Sears from CenterWell. Turned up his nose. Gave me recital exam. I was set up for colonoscopy by front desk. He never even came back to my room. I got dressed. Nurse saw me out. You see, I have Parkinson’s and I’m 67. I reported him for Senior abuse to the State. I’m sorry, sorry I didn’t get a gastrointestinal doctor who treated me with respect. He will not be treating elderly people like this anymore. The University of TN movement clinic for Parkinson’s will not be referring anyone else to you. My colonoscopy will be cancelled. I will go to another physician.

He is an ego maniac in love with himself. I went for a heller myotomy. He said he doesn't check those things. He's a gastrointerologist and his insurance person charged me 248 cash 💸 because they said I didn't have medicaid. My insurance went after him for stealing my money 💰. My throat hurts every day. He said just live with it. Sent me a bill for 300 , my insurance says I owe nothing. He's greedy and a bad DR.

We were very satisfied with Dr Stein's. He was very informative and patient. Seems like a great doctor with it being our first visit

Well first and foremost I hadn't heard nothing but good news about Dr.Stein, and I am looking forward to him working with me with my health and the medical assistants and the front desk are so nice thank you very much for your kindness

I love the entire office of Dr. Stein. Trevonda at the front desk was exceptional. She worked hard at getting me an appointment conducive to my transportation. Everyone I encountered was extremely nice. Dr. Stein is very patient and caring. You never feel rushed. He truly listens and does whatever's needed for you to get better. The person that referred me called him the Father of Gastroentology and I totally agree.
