would never recommend Baytown Methodist Hospital’s emergency room based on my experience\. I went to the ER five separate times with symptoms that I believed could have been rel ated to a stroke, including collapsing, vomiting, numbness, and severe neurological symptoms\. Each visit left me feeling ignored rather than cared for\. On one visit, I was taken to an exam room and then left there for approximately six hours without anyone checking on me or providing treatment\. It wasn’t until my wife came to the hospital and demanded answers that anything happened\. On another visit, I collapsed in the waiting room and vomited all over myself\. Instead of helping me up or cleaning me up, staff told me to get up, took me to a room, and left me sitting in my own vomit\. I found the way I was treated humiliating and lacking basic compassion\. No patient—especially someone experiencing possible stroke symptoms—should feel abandoned or ignored while seeking emergency medical care\. My experience left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was treated without dignity or urgency\. I sincerely hope the hospital reviews its emergency department procedures and patient care standards so no one else has to go through what I experienced\.

Security guard started following my car around the property while I was looking for parking. It was dark and I couldn’t tell who was following me. Methodist needs to do something about their Paul Blart mall cops

They lie about the staus of your health and send you home! Get upset when you advocate for yourself. They put me out of the ER room and put me back in the Lobby due to me advocating for myself. Ridiculously, unethical lacking morality and professionalism. You can report the lack of quality care and the hospital team will only cover up for them so they come in providing half care. GO Somewhere else!!!

This is the second time coming here and bith times ive revieved almost perfect service from the staff. I will however call out the best doctor by far ive ever had in an emergency room. Dr Vences. He is the most kind, caring, and patient doctor ive ever had in an ER and he is very thorough and listens to all my questions or concerns. I highly recommend his service and thank this hospital for its care.
