I'm a guy, and guys don't like going to the doctor. This lady is hilarious. She's worth a visit. She didn't waste my time and was straight to the point. She understood my anxieties and put me at ease. Also, her office staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The office decor is not exactly traditional but you can tell these folks enjoy laughing and trying to make people happy. I had almost cancelled my appointment, but honestly, y'all, I'm glad I went. You will be glad, too.

I can’t thank Dr. Uddin and her staff enough for making me feel completely at ease throughout my experience. Dr. Uddin’s bedside manner is exceptional, she truly listens, which is what every physician should strive for. Her follow-up care is top-notch. I’m also incredibly grateful for her staff’s excellent communication and for checking in on me after my colonoscopy. I felt supported every step of the way. I really give her 10 stars.

If I could give Dr Uddin and her staff 10 stars, I would. After a scary diagnosis for my husband, she and her staff have been more than helpful in making things happen quickly and their communication has been top notch. Dr Uddin took the time to explain everything to us in detail and has the best bedside manner, made us feel as comfortable as we can in our situation. Highly recommend and appreciate all they have done for us thus far in our journey.

My experience here was not great. I came in after experiencing multiple weeks of nausea and h.pylori symptoms, acid reflux, and burning in my stomach. I paid a $50 co-pay to literally be set in a room, see Dr. Fatema, and back out to check out in less than 7 minutes. There was no getting to know me as a patient, no explaining possible scenarios, or anything. Dr. Fatema said she would do an EGD (I expected this)… however, I asked her if she could do a lab test to check for h.pylori, she said no…she’ll do that by biopsy! Why make me wait that long, (10 days) if a lab test can confirm (either way) and I can start treatment? Then I’d have to wait another week to get results and treatment!!! Then, I get to the check out and Larissa schedules my EGD and then tells me I have to schedule an appointment 1 week later to get my results!! On top of that, I have to pay another $50 co-pay for this 5-10 results call/visit!! When I questioned this, Larissa became very dismissive with an extremely dirty attitude! I was told that’s the ONLY way I would get my results. She took my paperwork, which was right under my elbow and gave it to the lady next to her. No excuse me…are you finished or anything! I called back to cancel the EGD and request a refund. Jasmine told me, the co-pay would be returned and the payment voided. I then I received a call right at their lunch time ( phones are rolled over) from Larissa, stating that she knows I requested a refund, but that will not be happening!

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Fatima Uddin, a top-notch gastroenterologist in Arlington, Texas. From the moment I walked in, the office staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly. I was greeted promptly, and after completing my paperwork, I only waited about five minutes—unheard of for a specialist! Dr. Uddin was incredibly attentive and took the time to really listen to my concerns. She explained everything clearly and made me feel completely comfortable. She quickly got me scheduled for a procedure, and when I later needed to reschedule, the office handled it with compassion and efficiency. No hassle at all. I truly appreciate the care and professionalism I received. Dr. Uddin is 10 out of 10 in my book, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate GI specialist.

I came for upper abdominal stomach pain and had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done. When nothing came back from both, instead of furthering investigation, I was told that she “thinks” i have IBS(irritable bowel syndrome). After another procedure I had with my OBGYN, It was recommended to show the gastroenterologist the photos of my gallbladder that was taken by my OBGYN, but she didn’t even bother to even want to look at it and stated, “it wasn’t necessary”. On top of that, In my mention, of testing the function of my gallbladder, she stated “sure it’s your money that you’re giving to us”. I really felt she wasn’t concerned or sympathetic with my issue. Turns out my gallbladder was the issue in the end.

I came here to read my past review and realized I never left one, which is a complete oversight on my part! I had the BEST experience with Dr. Uddin. I have severe anxiety over procedures where I have to take off my glasses because I hate not being able to see, and my vision is awful. Dr. Uddin didn't make me feel silly but was so warm and compassionate and worked around all of my anxieties. On top of that, she explained in detail what was going to happen, which put my mind at ease. My procedure went perfectly, so I know her skill is great as well! I am having another issue, and I wouldn't go anywhere else but to this practice. The front staff also were so reassuring and nice.

Dr. Fatema Uddin is wonderful. Her bedside manner as well as her ability to listen patiently to my concerns and answer my many questions has been phenomenal. I had to have an endoscopy and Dr. Uddin helped ease my worries prior to the procedure. I am very thankful to have her as one of my physicians and would happily recommend her to anyone in need of a GI specialist.
