I went to see Dr. Nguyen back in February and I don’t usually write reviews at all, but I feel as though it’s necessary. I appreciated the professionalism of the nursing staff; however, I left the visit concerned that my symptoms were not thoroughly evaluated before a conclusion was reached. During the consultation, my assessment consisted primarily of a brief discussion and abdominal palpation, after which my symptoms were attributed to possible constipation or IBS without any laboratory testing, stool studies, or additional diagnostic workup being ordered at that time. Given the persistence and severity of my symptoms — which had already resulted in multiple urgent care and emergency room visits — I was surprised that infectious causes were not explored prior to being advised to wait several weeks for a colonoscopy. After the visit, I contacted the office to share that another health provider had initiated stool testing to rule out infection. I was actually told by Dr. Nyguen herself that it was unlikely that I had an infection, despite no testing having been performed through this office. Those outside tests later confirmed Enteroaggregative E. coli as the cause of my illness. My intention in sharing this is not to assign blame, but to express concern that my symptoms appeared to be prematurely attributed to a functional condition without a sufficiently thorough evaluation. I was particularly concerned by what felt like a rush to schedule a colonoscopy before basic laboratory testing or stool studies were performed. Had these tests been ordered earlier, my E. coli infection may have been identified sooner, potentially preventing weeks of ongoing discomfort, uncertainty, and delayed treatment. While the infection was eventually diagnosed and treated by another provider, I continue to experience residual gastrointestinal symptoms months later that have significantly affected my quality of life. Although it is impossible to know with certainty whether earlier intervention would have changed the outcome, the delay in diagnosis remains deeply concerning to me. I hope this feedback encourages a more comprehensive diagnostic approach for future patients presenting with similar symptoms. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage prospective patients to seek a second opinion if they feel their concerns have not been fully investigated or if appropriate diagnostic testing has not been performed.

For me, she’s not just a doctor. She’s a friend who understand my situation and my pain and I really truly appreciate her as a person and from a doctor point she is a very intelligent smart passion good looking doctor. I love you doctor. you really the best.

I had a colonoscopy 3 years ago. Unknown to me I had overpaid to the tune of almost $100 to this doctor. Not once in the 3 years was I contacted that I was due a refund nor did they send my money back. Now 3 years later I have another Colonoscopy I pre pay again. A month later I randomly check my junk mail to find they are sending me requests for a $17 under payment every three days. So, I have your money radio silence for 3 years, if you owe them a small amount of money emails regularly. This is clearly a greedy doctor and incompetent office that cares only about “the money” not your health.

I’ve been several times to see Dr Thuc Nguyen so has my husband. She is a great doctor and very experienced and never rushes you and always listens to your concerns. I am leaving a five star review because of her exceptional front staff that make this experience. Having worked in customer service for over 25 years these girls are really well organised and run a tight ship! I had several issues with booking appointments for certain tests and lab work and also issues with my insurance. Kristy and Lilly on a particular issue, both went over and beyond to help me solve my issues.

I found this clinic in the process of a Google search. I thought it would be a nice clinic based on the reviews. I gave a 2 stars because I had no complications during the procedure. I had a decent conversation with the front office, the doctor isn't very personable but I guess I get it. Appointment was set fairly quick to say there are things you do before the process. I had a good check in with Baylor surgical center. 2 days after procedure I called for my 2 week follow-up per discharge orders after procedure, but the front desk said they were booked up til June (confused). I cannot access information on their portal and when massaging on it, I got one response but nothing after. I called several times for results as Baylor notified me they were in. No return calls or anything. A person on the phone tried to read the results but then at some point got confused on what she was reading. I cannot say this is professional or a doctor I would recommend to anyone I know. This is not how you treat anyone looking for answers on their health. Especially someone paying you for this service.

Dr. Nguyen is by far the most thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate doctor I have ever worked with. I have worked with many doctors before finding one that took my symptoms and needs seriously, and I wouldn't be where I am in my treatment process without her involvement. I would and will continue to recommend Dr. Nguyen and her amazing team to anyone seeking GI treatment.

I don't usually leave negative reviews for medical services, but I'm not happy with the bill I had to pay after the colonoscopy because nobody gave me a clear explanation of how much it would cost. I had never had a colonoscopy before, and I am older than fifty. It had to be free as a result. However, I received two bills from Trinity Park Surgery Center totaling approximately $1200 and $250 for the copay. I have inquired about my bill over the phone at Trinity Park Surgery Center. Michelle, a woman, spoke with me. She lacked professionalism and was unfriendly. She only told me that the doctor's code was all she knew. When I called my insurance, they responded because the doctor wrote two separate bills for one procedure, which is why insurance only covers one. When I tried to get more information about it from the doctor’s office, the girls at the front desk were not very helpful. They said they would call insurance and the surgery center and get back to me, but they ultimately told me that they did not know anything about the bill because it was from the surgery center's side. Eventually, they sent my bill to collections. I feel disrespected because I was not given a clear explanation of how much I had to pay, and the responsibility for the bill was always being pushed onto someone else when I asked.

Dr. Nguyen and her staff are the best. They’ve been proving care to my elderly aunt for almost two years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else!
