Dr. Sunbal Zafar

Don’t walk, RUN. You will become an afterthought after spending TONS of $$$!!! It’s been over a month since I had my upper GI Scope done and I’ve literally heard crickets. I’ve tried to call and follow up, but have heard nothing back. I’ve been forgotten.

Dr. Zafar is a very good doctor, but she has a terrible staff. Horrible staff can’t get through to them. They refused to refill prescriptions. They do not do follow up phone calls. I’m so fed up with this staff. I think my own advice would be to find another doctor.

What a nice surprise! Dr Zafar took time to listen and address all my concerns. We scheduled a procedure and it was painless and, dare I say, even pleasant. It is wonderful to find folks like Dr Zafar these days. I wish I could give her (and her staff) 10 stars..... Richard Cross, May 2026

The best Gastroenterologist, very through, great bed side manners. Very caring! Great doctor!

From the beginning, Dr. Zafar was kind, personable, and gave me confidence in her knowledge and skill. She laid out what was to be expected, gave me certain caveats to watch out for, and emphasized high-interest things to make sure that I understood. On the procedure day, she came in like an angel, and kept the same wonderful energy. Everything went as she predicted and I am all the better for it. I HIGHLY recommend her and I will have to give my family doctor a "pat on the back" for referring me to her. I am having no complication or further issues.

Dr.Zafar took her time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained my condition.I was really nervous before the procedure ,but her calm and professional demeanor put me at ease. Her reassurance was really helpful. After the procedure she explained the results in detail and discussed the plan ahead. She is highly knowledgeable,professional,and caring physician.She has excellent bedside manners. I would highly recommend her.

My appointment was set at 3 pm. I get there at 2:40pm and check in. At around 3:10pm my weight, height and blood pressure are taken and I am taken back to the waiting area in the front. At around finally 3:30 I finally get my own room and even then I still have to wait. Dr.Zafar ended up seeing the patient who got there after me. At 3:50 pm I finally ask when will the doctor come in to see me and they let me know "5-10 minutes". Well more than 10 minutes pass by and absolutely no one came.I decide to go to the front desk and ask for a refund (yep they make you pay before you are even seen). Apparently they could not give me a refund at that moment and have to "request it" and that I will get a check in the mail. I have never been to doctor who neglected patient's this horribly of their time. If I could give a 0 star I could. The amount of stomach issue's I have experienced with the last few weeks, I really hoped I would get a solution today. Now I have to go back and get another referral and wait to get an appointment else where. Thank you Dr. Zafar!!

Dr. Sunbal Zafar was recommended by a doctor friend of mins as well as in a group of 850 doctors. She has one of the best team with her, who is on top of things. Dr. Zafar educated us on the 2024 ACG guidelines which shows that she is not only super skilled in her busy practice but is very well versed on updated guidelines. I received a call even during after hours and continued to receive follow up as well prompt explanation of the procedure findings right after the procedure. 10 stars all the way. Thank you so much Dr. Zafar for being there for us and thanks to your team as well for coordinating everything.
