I wish I had read the reviews before getting involved with this practice. Even after going through my procedure, I still have never met the doctor. Every appointment and follow up has been with his nurse practitioner, and that has been one of the most disappointing parts of my experience. I never felt like my questions were fully answered, and I never felt the level of care or reassurance I expected from a gastroenterology practice. Also, is worth to note that they charge for the follow up appointments, still after paying around $3000 for the whole procedure. Other GIs never charge for the follow-ups as they are included with the procedure. I was initially charged about $800 with insurance, but no one clearly explained that I would also receive additional bills totaling $2,000 for hospital expenses and I’m yet to receive the anesthesiologist bill. Had I been given a complete picture of the costs upfront, I would have declined the procedure. I have the means to travel to another country and have the same procedure done for a fraction of the cost. Patients deserve complete financial transparency before making these decisions. The endoscopy itself went well, which I’m grateful for. However, I still don’t have a clear diagnosis or explanation of my symptoms. The nurse practitioner handed me a copy of the doctor’s findings with no diagnose of what is causing my reflux. And to add up to the frustration, I am now being referred to another GI because this practice doesn’t have the technology needed to evaluate a nodule that was found. Had I been referred to a practice with the appropriate equipment from the beginning by my primary physician, I could have avoided unnecessary appointments annd expenses. If you’re reading this, I would recommend finding a GI who has the necessary technology in-house and who is actually involved in your care. It can save you from being transferred between practices, paying unexpected costs, and feeling like you’re navigating your medical care on your own.

the staff is usually pretty friendly but the wait times are alwaysss over an hour long. At first, i gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after my third visit, I know to expect to wait 1-1.5 hr before i get to even go inside one of the rooms.

The worst experience ever—the gastroenterologist never sees you, and they only schedule appointments to ask how you're feeling, even though your primary doctor had already prescribed medication. They prescribed omeprazole just to charge for a phone call appointment. It's horrible; don't go to them.

I went to Dr. Maurice Haddad's office. I am very happy with the doctor and the entire staff; everyone was very kind. I highly recommend them.

Will not get in contact back with you. After over a month now of me having to call periodically and or leave voicemails on updates and to see what to do with my current health issues I get the constant run around if I can get ahold of someone and or zero response back with voicemails. It is a shame to have the doctor who referred me from the ER speak so highly of this faculty and specialist and for me to see a completely opposite outcome. Wasted time and wasted money and in the search of another GI specialist who I hope can help me.
