I saw a few negative reviews here and I thought I’d chime in. I had a FANTASTIC experience! Well, as much as a colonoscopy can be fantastic. I arrived a little early and they got me in right on time. All of the staff were friendly and supportive. I was a little nervous and they put me at ease and were very kind. The procedure itself was seamless; the anesthesiologist was wonderful and they put me to sleep and when I woke up it was done and I was on my way to Olive Garden! This is the day after and it’s like nothing ever happened. When I had a colonoscopy 15 years ago I had pains and uncomfortableness for several days. Both procedures involved removing polyps, but either they’ve improved their techniques since then or Dr. Uhl is just that good. Except for the prep which is an unavoidably miserable experience, I would give this procedure two thumbs up (my butt)! Thanks, Dr. Uhl and staff.
