Great physician who pays attention to details and focuses on his patient in a way that's become a lost art yet very refreshing. Highly recommended.

Dr. Del Mazo is an amazing doctor. I’ve been seeing him for various issues for 2 years. He is kind, caring, compassionate, and a very good listener. He explains all questions and is very patient. I highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for a doctor who has professionalism and is patient. He takes time with you and is not in a hurry to get to the next patient!

He’s my 4th GI Dr. I have seen over the past 4 years and am completely blown away by his compassion, kindness, and attentiveness. He has a way of making you feel like you are his only patient. He truly listens, and has a ton of experience. I am forever grateful to have found him, and couldn’t recommend him enough!

I’ve been to the actual office once in June. I waited almost 3 hours to be seen and then Dr. Del Mazo took an “urgent” call from another patient with me sitting right there with him, and didn’t even leave the room. Told me I have a connective tissue disorder and maybe gastroparesis. He told me to make a follow up appointment for a gastroparesis test, but I wasn’t told it would be 4+ hours of testing until they scheduled it for TWO DAYS LATER during the work week? Have now been having urgent gallbladder issues for a month and the scheduling line GHOSTED ME FOR OVER TWO WEEKS after I said it was urgent and they just never followed up. I had issues with the scheduler before, but maybe they do this on purpose so they don’t have to see patients? Called back today to reiterate how I am OFF WORK DUE TO VOMITING FROM MY ISSUES LAST NIGHT and how I desperately need to get an ultrasound/MRI done and the nurse herself couldn’t contact the scheduling line and said she’d make sure they called me back. This will be the last time I ever deal with this office and it’s literally out of necessity. Im so tired of Emory and this healthcare system. Yall truly do not care about patients. I don’t GET IT. We pay YOUR BILLS.

First time visit...WHAT A NICE MAN! VERY caring and great bedside manner. He was a good listener and explained everything well. He was able to put together a plan which will take some time. I have several issues to address. So far I am very pleased to have found him!!!
