Disappointed to find this doctor and her staff provided substandard care. Unreliable. She was very personable when I met her. I like her personally. However she and her staff seem too busy for quality care. For example a positive blood test for possible cancer was ignored. I could see that result in MyChart for nearly a month. So our family made many calls and sent messages. Our questions were met by Nurse Amy telling me “all tests were normal. Just eat more fiber “ I took a screenshot of that cancer blood test report from MyChart and asked her to look again! Only then did she take a serious look at my test result. “Oh gosh, this just came in.” Really? Dr Thangavelu is nearly impossible to reach. The triage nurse Amy is abrupt and gave incorrect information multiple times. Calling and messaging are not productive. Do not expect any follow up care. This is not a smooth running practice.

Dr. T is one great Doc. She Will go out of her way to accommodate your needs. Could not have imagined a better experience. Highly recommended.

Dr. Thangavelu is the first doctor I have ever been to who I truly trust. She is extremely knowledgeable and jumped straight to solutions to my problems, which I really appreciated! I always feel listened to and cared for at every visit with her! Best GI doctor I’ve ever been to! Thank you Dr. Thangavelu!!

I had a medical concern and question. I sent a my chart message to her. I knew that she wouldn’t answer but I thought she would get her nurse to call me. The nurse called me that day to say the doctor still hadn’t responded and the nurse was off the rest of the week. I finally got a response 2 days later by someone who didn’t understand what I was asking. This doctor thinks she’s too good to talk to patients

Dr T is wonderful, compassionate and understanding. I would recommend her to everyone. one top notch, DR.

Had an appointment for 11:30 and had was delayed by 14 minutes was exactly there within in the 15 minute grace period … called in 30 minutes earlier and informed about the delay due to an accident near 52 and that I am traveling 45 minutes to meet the doctor and requested to accommodate. Despite reaching exactly at the 15 minute mark for grace period doctor did not want to see me … very bad service and deeply disappointed that I chose to come here driving all the way from Monroe ..:
