The entire experience is terrible. Good luck explaining your issues and symptoms to Dr Cherian because she looks at you as if you're talking about some useless life event that means nothing to her and she'd rather be anywhere else. Everything I told her she answered " yea there isn't much to do with that it will probably be something to manage." Everhthing... no exam either by the way. She just stares blankly at you when you speak like she hates being there and then says she can't help you. No effort or care. Oh and the front office workers are a joy also.

Perforated my bowel during colonoscopy - rushed to ED for emergency surgery and spent 10 days in the hospital.

I came here to leave Dr. Cherian a positive review and was surprised to see some of the other reviews. I work in healthcare and will say that I've learned not to expect much from a patient experience and customer service standpoint when interacting with most providers and office staff. Healthcare has always been more like the DMV than Disney. So needless to say, my expectations are typically pretty low when visiting a practice for the first time. But I can say that my experience with Dr. Cherian and team was as good as it gets. The office workflow was flawless (which is a rarity), the front desk person was extremely friendly and super competent, the MA was friendly and quick, and the wait time in the exam room wasn't bad at all. As for my experience with Dr. Cherian herself, she was pleasant and patient. I have a endoscopy scheduled for later this year, so I'll update this accordingly. But for now, I can say that my experience with Dr. Cherian and this practice was well above average versus other specialty care clinics I've interacted with in the past few years. I also looked up her cost/quality scores (which is something my company tracks) and hers are very good.

Don’t recommend. Dr.Cherian asked a few questions and rushed me when I answered. Seemed like she thought she’d seen it all and didn’t want to cater to me as a unique patient at all. She prescribed me Metamucil! As if I never thought of that before! It was a 5 minute appt tops. She scheduled an ultrasound for my stomach yet never called with the results! She doesn’t seem to care about her individual patients. Just getting them out the door as quick as possible.

Saw Dr.Cherian over a year ago due to issues with my stomach. Did many procedures and testing a for her to tell me there is absolutely nothing wrong and to experiment with different medicine to try and figure out if a prescription will cure me. She told me that my gallbladder was impacted but she said gallstones do not cause symptoms and she assured me it wasn’t that. She told me that it was a stomach headache. She was never in the room more than 5 minutes to discuss my concerns or to hear me out. She heard what she wanted and basically through pills at my face. Fast forward to a year later with pain a suffering, I finally was able to land a second opinion with another GI who told me that it’s indeed my gallbladder and it should have been removed over a year ago as it was clear as day as I had stones lodged! Now, because of her negligence, I now have liver issues and other chronic issues. Please do not see this doctor. She’s not caring nor passionate. She’s very rude. Told me that maybe it was a all in my head thing and to get checked out by a neurologist.
