Digestive Health Specialists: Independence

I had fast friendly service. But have not received any findings.

Very friendly, caring, took care of my issue. The room I had to wait in to see the Dr. was very hot! I didn't like that!

I hate writing bad reviews but very unprofessional and so many hidden fees. I went to see a specialist and no testing, the questions felt weird and unrelated, did not feel heard, all in 5 MINUTES. Waste of time, then i try to cancel my next appointment and on the phone she was very offended that i needed to cancel for an appointment A MONTH from now. As soon as i got off the phone, a huge bill came in. Mind you i am fully covered by insurance, this is some random bill i probably wouldn’t have gotten if i didn’t call and cancel. Never going here again.

It was a fantastic experience, customer service was great, all the participants in my care from the front desk to discharge was amazing. I was in & out, my rider had no time to unpack her blanket & snacks expecting a long wait. They even gave me a call after my procedure to see how I was doing. I highly recommend starting with my over due family

I really appreciate my doctor. He explained things very well. I felt confidence in him like the one I had many years ago. He also wasn't critical since I was unable to drink all of that stuff. I vomit it up.

Awful place. So money hungry n suggests unnecessary procedures to make more profit. Very unprofessional and will never recommend to anyone

I went to my first appointment yesterday, May 19th for a consultation. I arrived on time, filled out paperwork and my name was called within 10 mins. I did not have to wait long at all in the exam room. Johnna Bodenstab NP came in and I immediately felt at ease and confident that she was going to figure out my digestive issue I'd been experiencing since April 18th. (Was not recieving the care I felt I needed at Centerpoint after 1 Urgent Care and 2 ER visits... being admitted for 4 days and 3 nights....so decided to go with another group of GI doctors.) I didn't feel rushed while talking with Johnna about my situation. She called for my records and test results from Centerpoint and with a couple hours after I got home she called me with a diagnosis and started with a treatment plan! I was so relieved that someone finally figured it out, after spending 4 days in Centerpoint 'suffering' and getting the run around with the hospital and some of the np's and doctors. After our consultation was over I went to the front desk to make the 8 week follow up appointment. Also received an invite to their portal where I can see upcoming appoints, request an appointments, ask questions instead of calling them, update my personal information, etc. I am very, very happy with my visit and will highly recommend coming to the Digestive Health Specialists if you need an excellent group of GI's that genuinely care about their patients!!!!

My experience with Digestive Health Specialist was a good one. They were professional, kind and knowledgeable which I truly appreciated. From the front desk to the procedure everyone was great. I highly recommend them. Plus, they have great coffee while you wait.
