Went to a pointless appointment at this doctor’s office and have been trying to pay the charge for almost a year since I got the charge, but they will not accept my payment/check through my insurance company and I cannot pay through their payment portal because it DOES NOT WORK and hasn’t worked for months. I can’t get a hold of them because they don’t answer their phone or return multiple voicemails. So instead they send me to collections where I can finally pay through there and now owe an extra $50 dollars of interest. You guys owe me $50 dollars and quite frankly you owe me the whole amount for putting a customer through all this trouble to pay for a pointless appointment where I got told nothing. Check your voicemails and fix your portal website. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alexanian for several years, and I am so grateful for the excellent care that he and his staff have provided. He Is exceptionally great at listening attentively and explaining medical terminology and procedures in a clear manner. In fact, my entire family goes to Digestive Health Consultants.

I waited almost a month for an appointment, and when I got there, waited over an hour for Dr Garret, and finally just walked out because I know that if I were an hour late, the doctor would never see me. Front desk staff was huffy, rude and blasé. I will be looking for a new gastroenterologist, who can better manage his time. Jill O

As others have commented on Yelp and Google, the experience here is roundly unpleasant. You arrive early and are rushed through not one, but two storms of paperwork. It's 2022: why is this wasteful exercise from yesteryear even a thing? Just have your patients answer questions online beforehand for crying out loud, it's not that hard. Once you get into the medical bays, waiting for your doctor- or in my case, nurse practitioner- to arrive, it's Spartan and quiet. The cold comforts of the interior very much suit the morale projected by a palpably fed up staff. Then a nurse rushes in, asks a few questions and weighs you on an ancient scale...(headslap)...am I cattle? Then, the moment we've all been waiting for (well I was), the NP walks in. No eye contact, terse greeting. Asks why you're there, you talk for moments before being interrupted, looked up and down as she proceeds to dismiss nearly everything you've said, neglecting to even acknowledge others, writes a few things down, offers either blood work or a colonoscopy/endoscopy, rushed through explanations as though it's my fault for not having gone through med school before turning up. I came in because I'm ill. I am also neurodivergent. I am scared and could've used a caring bedside manner, some reassurance, deliberate and understandable explanations. I received none of those before the NP left me with, "the nurse will be in to explain the next steps." Same nurse as before rushes in, gets right up to my face as I sit in the same chair I started out in (there was a bed, but I wasn't examined. I wonder if anyone ever is..) and very cursorily runs through pre-procedure steps, parts with "drop off your paperwork at the front desk and scheduling will be in touch." That was my visit. In at 9 for a 9:30, appointment started in earnest at 9:40 and ran til 9:54.

I had a procedure scheduled and wanted my important medical questions answered and nobody answered them. The front desk staff is totally entitled, rude and low IQ. I was talking to “Diana” and when she showed her bad side I immediately asked her to speak to her manager and she lied again and said her manager was busy and she would called me back. Of course I got no call back. They have a big attitude and talk down to you. I cancelled my appointment. Much better options out there. Poor management and poor employee training here.I did finally speak with Dr Kasher and he’s ok with his front desk staff being rude to patients. He blew off his staff’s rude behavior like nothing. He must be used to it and can’t hire better qualified employees.

Professional and efficient has been my overall experience with this office. I made an appointment for a colonoscopy and wanted to choose a doctor who generally has five star ratings all the way, and has years of experience. I chose Dr. Kuritzkes. Nursing staff and the doctor himself were all professional, efficient, simple and clear in communication, and nice enough as well. Procedure went smoothly. Office staff was communicative to any questions in a timely manner and returned any phone call to that effect as well. I would choose Dr. Kuritzkes and this office again relative to trustworthy service and professionalism.

Great option for a colonoscopy. Very professional and caring. Dr. Garrett is great.

Do not go here! Dishonest! I went for a consultation prior to a preventative colonoscopy and they purposely asked me questions that would cause my visit to be billed as an office visit rather than a preventative consultation. Then they tried to blame it on Blue Shield.
