I've been going here for a year and a half. They saved my life. I find everyone here to be very efficient and skilled at their jobs. Communication is very good. From the doctors, nurses, technicians all the way through to the guy that empties the garbage cans. Everyone is professional caring and compassionate. Thank you all very much

The Doctors are great, but the 3 females that check you in need a class on how to treat patients.

I had been referred by my primary care to Dr Bodenheimer. After about a two month wait I went for my appointment. I could not find his office so I phoned and was informed he retired. Why didn’t anyone contact me? No answer. I rescheduled with Dr Htut another physician in the practice. Waited about another 6 weeks. When I arrived they had no record of my appointment. They apparently are extremely disorganized. Stay away.

A new team, that is understandably struggling to optimize their workflow for working with liver patients. Medically, they are average, but their communication skills with families and patients leaves a lot to be desired. Some physicians are excellent (Dr. Kalia, Grodstein) while others leave a lot to be desired. I would strongly recommend going to Mt Sinai or Columbia until this team has a few more years to figure things out. My two cents based on my mother's and our family's experience here.
