The whole staff is good here at Dr Farooq’s office but Miss Ty is the greatest. She has the best bedside manner, and was perfect with starting the IV too! She was so patient and caring with my mother.

Dr. Farroq is ok! His partner however is not. I had previously came in a couple years ago for severe nausea and vomiting, dr Farooq did the testing and everything, and got it resolved. I had came in again a couple months ago for me barely being able to hold down any food and getting severely malnourished. I didn't get to see dr farroq this time, he had me see his partner. It had been weeks and multiple er visits, but i was just told to see my gi dr. I had explained everything that had been happening to dr Farooq partner, and he told me he was going to do a gastric emptying study, which to this day still never got ordered. He also told me he was going to do an endoscopy. Which got scheduled and then i got sent home for the test not being able to be done, due to a medical episode i had earlier. Which is fair. But, My medical problem wasnt being seen as something serious, and I ended up having to go to another gi dr. As I had lost over 30 lbs in 3 months, and I still wasnt able to hold anything down. My new gi dr instantly got me admitted to the hospital and I ended up having to be put on an nj tube and now have a gj tube. This practice is great for minor gastric issues, but not for more serious issues as they take their time and don't take things as am emergency when it is.

Coming from someone in healthcare, working as an advanced DNP in an intensive care unit, front desk secretary was extremely rude and unprofessional. We came in for my mom’s endoscopy, and she has very limited knowledge in healthcare so naturally my instinct is to advocate for her and ask questions. The assistant in the front desk had AirPods in, rolled her eyes, every time I asked a question she gave very unprofessional responses. I understand it’s overwhelming, but if you do not have customer service skills and dislike people asking questions maybe don't work the front desk.

As soon as this doctor's office received my contact information from my PCP, they began calling incessantly, 3 to 4 times a day for several days in a row. I even responded to both their email and a phone call to let them know I would reach out when I was ready and asked them to stop calling, but the calls continued. The aggressive outreach was a major turnoff. I appreciate having the time and space to schedule appointments at my own convenience, and this approach made me feel more like I was being pressured to fill a slot than cared for as a patient. It gave me the impression that the practice prioritizes scheduling volume over the patient experience. As a result, I've decided to look for another provider.
