Dr. Rosenberg has been my doctor for 25years now. He cares about my well being and has helped me with my mental help problems I’ve endured from my childhood and now my adult issues. He takes the extra time to listen to me as if he’s my therapist. While under his care I’ve improved substantially. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking help!!!!!!

Dr. Leon Rosenberg has been my doctor for 15 years now. He reliably gets my prescriptions refilled and provides appointments to me as needed. Very professional. Very caring. I suffer from panic/anxiety disorder and agoraphobia, and I’m currently going through a divorce. It’s an extremely stressful time for me. Dr. Rosenberg is staying on top of my situation, letting me know that he’s there for me if I should need him. I highly recommend.

Dr Leon Rosenberg is a caring, concerned psychiatrist who has helped keep my depression controlled for many years. Recently I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As soon as his secretary learned my diagnosis I received a call from Doctor Leon. He helped me get through this difficult emotional process of treating cancer. I just let him know I am thankfully cancer free and I could genuinely feel his joy and relief too.. I highly recommend The Center for Emotional Fitness.

The Center for Emotional Fitness is one of the most caring Professional Clinics I have ever encountered. The staff here is consistent and persistent in your behalf. On the road to recovery from life's traumatic circumstances, this team of Psychiatric care through medication, therapy, and consultation will meet you at whatever point you are at in life. I can personally attest to the most intimate care and concern of my personal wellness that CFEF has assisted in guiding me to obtain over the course of many years. The goal here is teaching individuals that mental fitness is just as important as the physical fitness in our lives. Treatment here is individually planned for "you." As a client you are met with feeling the security that your Doctor and/or Therapist can get you through your rough patches, along with finding your inner strengths to keep you on the road to wellness. I would highly recommend this quaint facility to those in need of emotional wellness, especially in the time of stress. Dr. Leon Rosenberg is phenomenal!

Got a phone call asking to come in and compensation for time. Was asked to urinate for testing. Didn’t have to at the moment. Was given a bottle of water to drink. I took my mask off to drink water, then scolded me for taking mask off. Treated very poorly by the younger dr after that. Felt like I was an inconvenience. Was told I wasn’t a fit for the study, fine, I did pass the over the phone questionnaire. Waited by the front desk to check out and collect for my time. They assumed I needed an Uber? Then was told I didn’t qualify so no pay. Responded that over the phone, was cut off from speaking told me I was wrong, there was no way they said that there would be a check waiting, and walked away upstairs as I was trying to communicate. Real class, great way to treat people who are looking for help.

I have been going to the Center for Emotional Fitness for about 15 years and i trust them all totally. I highly recommend this office - the doctors and the staff. They are totally professional as well as kind and caring. I tried a few other offices before i found them. They go above and beyond.

I lucked out as this was the second place i called about getting treated for ADHD (the first place wasn't taking new patients). They made the process easy and i was able to benefit from their clinical trial. They are very vigilant with their safety procedures for pandemic times. Highly recommend!

SAVED MY LIFE. NO JOKE. *TREATS ME LIKE A HUMAN*. ARE YOU SICK Of PDOCS & PSYCHS? TRY DR. R. JUST ONCE, PLEASE. My fun story: I began drinking at 11 y/o. In the 80's, nobody talked about mental health, so I'd kept it all inside - bipolar I with psychotic features (intense paranoia and delusions), severe general and social anxiety, ADHD (inattentive type), and bad OD neuro issues. (We both think of substance abuse as a symptom of an untreated cause, not an illness. Remain untreated and you'll almost definitely keep relapsing. By treating the causes, he made it dissipate in two years.) None of it was diagnosed until I got here. In my mid-30's. For more than half my life I'd medicated myself. That became a severe decade-long dope habit. 10+ detoxes, 4.5 rehabs (I broke out of one lol), 2 long psych ward stays and countless 3-day psych observations. I needed it to end before I did. I've seen more than a dozen of them for 6+ months. Dr. R was the first to successfully diagnose & treat me. No daily visits, once per month. He only uses Suboxone for opioid treatment. Infinitely superior med. I'm medication-resistant & quickly tolerate them. Built for addiction, considering the mental chaos with which I was born, the physical pain from the fibro and the osteoarthritis, both making themselves known when I was only a teenager, if not earlier, along with my first seven entirely friendlies years of school, both of which I only saw as houses for the constant physical & psychological abuse from "my peers". Then someone took pity. She made me realize I would remain a target any which way so I might as well just stop hiding my true self. It took a couple of years, and using, to learn how to modify my brain. Thankfully, I found a few people who understood me a bit, and the only five bI've ever loved. (The two that still live, who havant OD'd or checked themselves out, are still the best and closest of all six of my very old and very good friends who remain alive.) But I was too screwed up to just use anything occasionally. By 17 I'd learned that music, and smoking herb and eating pounds of pills daily (benzos and opioids), could make my mind and body feel good enough to become social. But after spiraling down for a decade and a half I was a dirty street punk, always high, delusional, wound tight and strung-out, a 5'11" & barely 120lb hussler, busker, a dealer's cache and more, living in my dead car and squats. Then I came here. I now have 13.5 years clean because of Dr. R, and the one last chance my parents, whom I'd psychologically abused for so long, gave me. After two years, the urges and dreams were gone. I've barely thought of it for a decade or so. He's basically become family. The Abyss that is my mind, the physical pain and emptiness which drove me to such dark depths, now properly being treated, was all illuminated enough to help me avoid the worst of the monsters in there now.
